Wow its been way too long since I've updated. I've just been way too busy as of late. Not the normal kind of busy where I'm busy doing stuff but the working a lot kind of busy where when I get done with work I just want to do nothing at all. I feel like because I worked hard I've 'earned' a break so instead of working on anything that could get me a better job or actually advance my life I dick off and waste time and just end up depressed that my life is going nowhere when its in fact my fault its going nowhere. So on that note I am going to go do something. Not sure what yet but anything is better than nothing at this point.
Well I got a promotion so thats good and bad news. Good news b/c pay raise + more hours = much more money but bad news b/c I well have to work more and have less time for things that don't suck. Plus being a manager there makes me feel like this job is more permanent than I would really like it to be. I just hope I can save up a little money and maybe invest it well and get one of the ideas I've been working on off the ground. I tried to start a record label about 6 months ago but it never took off like I wanted it to and it set me back a fair amount. I learned a lot though about what it really takes to do something like that and next thing I try will hopefully be far better executed b/c of that. Well thats its for now. I work in like 8 hours so I should probably go get some sleep but instead will most likely sit around listening to industrial music and chilling out on the internet.
Not much to report really. Got called into work on one of my day's off but I was glad since I was off a lot this week. I need to money more than anything really. College loans suck to pay off and doubly so when you went for four years and have no degree to show for it. Oh well. I shaved recently too. I don't why I do this but every time I take a picture I change my appearance mere days later. Its rarely planned it just always seems to work out that day. I wear glasses and / or contacts so I often switch between the two and having a beard for me is less a decision and more laziness. It grows fast and I tend to let it do so. However, it gets itchy so I shave it. I always leave the sideburns though. Those are necessary. I've had them since I first grew facial hair and I plan to have them for a long time. That was a mighty long post for having nothing to say. Oh well.
My choice for favorite CD of the year so far has to go to Killing Miranda with their new release Consummate. I know the year is young and all but I have a feeling this CD will still be a frequent listen for a long time and if anything better than this comes out I will be ecstatic. I had liked all the songs I had heard off it before it came out but now that I have it I am even more impressed. If you haven't heard it check it out its so worth. Favorite tracks so far: Conspiracy Theory, I Know What You Want, Boy Meets Gun, Enter the Dagon. So fucking awesome. If this is the kind of music 2005 has to offer than the year looks bright (in that tiny corner).
Christ my company is so out of touch with its employees. 75 pages worth of product that needs to be sent back at a time when they are really pushing us to work on getting "sales focus items." It would be so much easier to find the stuff we need to send back if the customers could just put the DVDs that they are going to buy at wal-mart for a dollar cheaper back where it was. I know our organization system is obscure, what with it being alphabetical and all. 
Brilliant. First post and I double post. I am so glad I am switching to DSL in like a week. My internet just sucks far too much right now.
Well I guess I'm really just trying this thing out. 3 years of private Christian school made me feel way too tied down and then I went to another school for a year and promptly joined a Fraternity and became an alcoholic. Not a normal Fraternity mind you. More like the kind where you can go get high and then play a good game of Magic: the Gathering. I drank too much and attended class too little so I'm back in St. Louis a city I hate and I feel surrounded by by braindead sheeple. I have always known I never really fit in anywhere and so I thought there might be a chance I would here. We'll see where it goes but so far its been worth it just for a chance to see some truly beautiful women in sexy poses. I love the girls on this site and I hope to meet other people just as interesting and worthwhile who hopefully have real opinions of their own and actually have something to say. I work at a mall so that would be a refreshing change of pace for me.
