Man, Summer of 2011 is almost over. WOW! This year has been pretty lackluster. Looks like Obama is on his way OUT! Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, atleast we have 2012 to look forward to, plus the end of the world!. So how was everybody's summer? Did it ROCK or did it SUCK?

YO, I had MAD fun this past weekend. Eventhough I missed Wizard World, I did go to this:

Don't have any pics since my camera broke but I'm sure one of those girls does. I couldn't really TALK to any of them that much since they were sitting next to the DJ booth and it was LOUD AS HELL! Nice club but WAY too small for my tastes. Hopefully the next SG event will be at a bigger venue with a chillout lounge. What better way to hang out with SGs than in a chillout lounge right? There were some other people there from the site but I couldn't hear shit over the loud music.

YO, my first blog of August. Man,this summer has been pretty lackluster lately. Freelancing sucks especially in a city like Chicago. This place is like a black hole. I wanna try to get some loot together and hit up some more conventions. I'm starting to get the hang of this con stuff. Now all I gotta do is resolve this $$$ situation. I lead a pretty mundane life which to me is very UNSATISFACTORY! (there's a $20 word for ya). No pics to post since I'm a dinosaur who still develops rolls of film. But here's some art.

WOW! I just saw another advanced screening tonight. and whether you're an MMA fan or not I think you'll enjoy WARRIOR! Although you might have to wait until September 9th for it's original release date. Kurt Angle was AWESOME as the Russian fighter, but I wish he would have had more dialog.

So I just saw the advanced screening of CAPTAIN AMERICA:THE FIRST AVENGER last night. 2 words,
FUCKING AWESOME!

So the new teaser poster and trailer are out for The Dark Knight Rises coming out next summer. Am I the only one who's NOT geeked up for this movie? At this point I'm just tired of Batman movies, I don't care who's directing it.

This week was pretty good given my current lack-of-money situation. I won a meet-and-greet from the local radio station here. and hung out with a cool ass chick named Sarah. Anybody ever heard of Skylar Grey?

How's everybody's July so far? Mine's going pretty well I guess. I gotta few things that really irk me I gotta get this off my chest:


1. people who say "hella" that shit's so fucking retarded! Unless you're from Oakland you should be saying that.

2. Commercials on IFC. what happened to being the "independant" film channel? Now you're just another Spike TV.

3. Chicago Tourists. These people annoy the hell outta me.

4.Baseball rivalries. People take them WAY too seriously. IE Cubs vs Sox, Yankees vs Mets, etc.

5. People who add you on facebook and don't evn talk to you. Really, what's the fucking point?

Ok, so back in April I posted some characters from some tv show concepts I had been working on 6 years ago. Here's a little recap from my NINJA VS SAMURAI series. I'm still developing characters and might get to script it out or storyboard it. I might post this in the anime group too.

I'm back again! I know it's starting to sound like a broken record but it is what it is. Family problems, They're about to foreclose my grandfather's pizza place after 33 years which means most of my family members and a lot of other people will be out of work My financial situation isn't where I'd like it to be and I REALLY need to get out of Chicago, this place is like a black hole. Other than that it's good to be back on SG! How's everybody's summer so far?
