"This Game isn't fair" - My 6-yrold nephew
My wife threw me a "WII Party" on Sunday, where her brother and his family would come over and play WII all day. Three hours playing Smash Bros with a 5 and 6 year old. Oddly draining
Once those kids figure out their finer motor skills, they will be deadly at the Smash.
Thanks to all that wished me a happy Birthday. I never care about my Bday. Mostly cause I never had anyone throw me a Bash before(Mom and Dad would bring out the cake and they and the siblings would sing and dole out presents, not at all bad). When I got older my Bdays were toned down. It was an excuse to spoil myself silly once a year, till I got hitched. Now my wife(Havilah) has decided SHE will spoil me on my birthday. I certainly don't mind
I Got a Creative ZEN 2Gb player and a Cobalt DS. OOOOhhhh.. First game I got was a GBA game, but I LOVES me some Final Fantasy 6.
But not ALL is Giant Nintendo cake(mother in law makes HUGE and tasty cakes) and giggles. My car failed the AZ Emissions Test recently, so I gotta get that sorted before I can register my car legal in this state. Problem is it's a pain finding a mechanic open after 5pm, when I get off work. Wonder if Pep Boys can do the job.
And this is the funniest damn animation EVER!

"Is this a costume party? This guy's got on a mask that looks just like my old face." - Briarios From Appleseed Ex Machina
An Excellent Anime by any standards. And John Woo knows how to work an action scene for all it's worth. beautiful!
My cat is a freak. He fell onto the window behind my headboard and couldn't get out. Havilah had to rescue him. She felt sympathy, I giggled. I know, I'm an asshole, but he was not hurt.
I got myself a Wii. *girlish laugh* Tee hee
Took me about 10 days to Track down a 400 dollar bundle at Fry's Electronics. Came with Three games that I got to choose off a table(bad choices. Im not keeping any of them, though the one's I didnt pick were worse) , plus a sports kit(the plastic addons to the Wii-mote shaped like a Racket, golfclub, etc), wireless sensor bar, and a two remote charger. Not a bad deal, though. I picked up both Smash Bros and Zelda: Twilight Princess later on, and I LOVE them!!! I play Smash bros to the detriment of my WoW account. I need to change that

Smash Bros code: 5327-1204-0554

Of all the comic heroes, GL is my fave.
I miss my wife, she's doing "Give the Gift of Sight" in Hollywood, CA, giving little kids free eye exams. She'll be back on Saturday. I may need traction afterwards
We moved our Wedding to Jan. 05. that way we can save lots of cash to make it REAL nice. My sister says she wont be able to make it, gave her too short notice, so she can't change her plans, so I'm seeing my Sis and Bro-in-law come October and missing them come January. Real shame.
For some good news, seems I'm pretty good at my new job. I run the shipping/receiving/inventory section of a small tech company in Scottsdale, ALL the way across town during BOTH rush hours. Oh well.. outside that its a good job. Ill work it for the next few months to get some verifiable experience (6 months should be fine), then put out my resume for something closer to home. I like my free time, plus not having to gas up twice a week would make me quite happy
And for your viewing pleasure. I bring you: IRON MAN!!!!!!!
I think I just came in my pants

"You don't think - not MOANING MYRTLE!?" - Harry Potter
Yes kids, I'm reading Harry Potter. Havilah got me started and I'm getting a kick out of the stories. I'm done with "Chamber of Secrets" and as soon as I can I'll get my hands on Prisoner of Azkaban.
I got a job at an Engineering Firm making touch screens for various tech places. I run the shipping/receiving area, somewhat.
There's just so much to do, and a year-old tech company doesn't have the streamline process of, say, Dell. Plus it's across town, an hour in rush traffic. *groan* But it's work, and until I get something closer (I'd take a pay cut, since the difference goes into my gas tank anyhow
), it'll work fine.
As for me and my wife, she's having to adjust to not always coming home to me, since I work now. She misses me, I miss her, all that mushy junk
. We pushed the wedding back to January so we can properly save up and have a nice, pretty ceremony.
I miss WoW. I'm too broke to afford a game card, plus my computer has keeled over months ago (Error causing my windows to restart within a minute of seeing the desktop). Gonna cost me about 2 bills to either buy a copy of XP to install myself, or take to Geek Squad or some such to fix my computer, which would most likely require wiping my hard drive and reinstalling XP anyhow. Might as well do it myself and save cash the next time it craps out on me.
And now, Video Entertainment.

Yes I married Havilah, and I cannot be happier. Now I just need to get work. I've applied all over the place In Phoenix. Only a matter of time now. I got good prospects, so I'm not worried. How all you kids doing?
And as a nice touch. I love dragonforce!

Buried my friend today. Good Service. Made everyone feel good. Funeral home did a good job making my boy presentable. Im glad that's the image of him the family got to see.
Me and him bought this house together. So I guess i own it all now. Ironic, since we worked out a deal to buy out my share, so I could move to Albuquerque(or Phoenix, depending on the situation in the next few days) to marry Havilah . This means I havta sell it.
My other roommate (the brother of my friend) says he has no where else to go, so I want to offer the buyout(a relatively cheap price for buying a house) to his parents first. If they don't agree. I'll be forced to sell it outright to a "fast close" business (If ya'll have seen the signs "We Buy Ugly Houses" on the road) to have enough money to move, leaving my roommate in the lurch as to a place to live. Plus it might force the family to deal with all my friend's stuff before they are ready. I'm not really looking forward to that possibility.
I guess I can offer that if they can rent a storage box(the kind that a big truck drops off and takes away when finished), then I can store all his stuff in there and give them the key, giving them all the time they need to be ready, while allowing me to sell the house without obstruction.
As for myself. Im dealing. For all I know, I'm processing all this well. Though it's all possible that i'll fall apart in my 40s from repressed memories or some such. Took my girl to see my mom(I seem to have a high gluttony for familiar embarassment
). Havi has NEVER had "Shake and Bake"
I was Astonished
.. Anyways, lucky me that they like each other. Havi likes the fact that mom had me "trained", and mom likes the fact that havi bought me for a Brownie Pie from Village Inn (they call it Havi's "Dowry"
). Though it WAS a good pie
Thats it for now kids. later.

Check out Havilah's profile to see the rock I planted on her
We went to Vegas. Cool place to hang for a few days. We stayed at Hooter's. Beds are firm
I'm training my girl to be a gamer geek.. She LOVES Mario Kart
Sadly, as luck would have it, she always go the busted machine that wouldn't let her throw a Koopa Shell at anyone. I think she missed out on lots of fun in that game
I did a little gambling. Made 5 bucks. go me.
And my girl got to see the true Geek in me.... in Star Trek: the Experience. Theres a little museum before you hit the show, and I'm pointing at things and showing how much I know about them... I think she was picturing me in a Trek uniform by the time I was done
The 2 shows were very well done. Set pieces looked spot on, though a little TOO shiny, if you get my meaning. And at the end, it was fairly cute to have the Leaders (Capt Picard and Admiral Janeway) give a bit of an inspirational speech to the audience to make us feel good about ourselves. All in All, a fun time... Id love to go back.
After the show, we went to Quarks*Trekkie giggle*.... Turns out Feregis love children, cause "They make adults buy things"
Gift shop was right next door. Did you know:

A great trip.... it would be awesome to go back.... would have been nice if our PSW friends had come too. oh well.
