Japan Trip part 2-- Japanese Toilets

I was fascinated by the toilets in Japan, the fact that they go from the primitive (Squat toilets)....

To Space Age

some of the toilets had not only washing systems for your butt but even blow driers!!!!

I only had to use a squat toilet once.. but with my horrible knees it was quite a chore.. I am so glad I wasn't any drunker than I was. Most places offered a western style toilet along with the squat style.. At first I thought.. why offer both? why not just have western style toilets? but every time there were both, I saw women choosing squat toilets. I guess it's what they are used to. Maybe they are as baffled by the space age toilet as I was by the squat ones. Evidently the squat toilet is common in many parts of the world..
If you are ever faced with one of these here is how to use it:

the space age toilet is just a matter of sitting down and pressing buttons... oh and many surprises

next Japan topic... food!!!!

I only used the classic one for a few times in my life ever.
I love the name the space age toilet!!!!! Yea, now this is Japanese standard toilet, so I can't live without this type of toilet!!!!! I hear some foreign actor, singers, musicians, athletes or someone who's got money, they order this space age toilet before they leave Japan.

I used a squat toilet once-at a mosque in a village outside of Toulouse, France. It was an..interesting experience. I was praying that I wouldn't fall over.
