Moving to Brooklyn in under a week. So I am where I should have been about 8 years ago. This is also an experiment in how long I can put off packing and cleaning. Considering the fact that I am renting a truck tomorrow morning to move all the stuff that can't fit into my car and I have so far packed zero things, it is safe to say "until the last minute". I'm really not looking forward to the inevitable blitzkrieg against the kipple. Shock and awe isn't going to cut it, only total defeat is acceptable. On the plus side, I am really looking forward to finding a bunch of things I had considered lost forever. Mostly though I think I'll find empty cigarette packs and worn out hair ties.
