I'm about to see so much of the road, it's not even fucking funny, but it is going to be a blast.

This is my birthday gift to myself.



It's not entirely screen-accurate (all black, the engravings on the Steyr Mannlicher receiver are wrong, nor is it entirely metal), but it's a start. One of these days I'll have to fly to Japan and hunt down one of the Tomenosuke builds.

I finally watched The Plan today, and now all I want to do is watch all of Battlestar Galactica again.

First, though, I need to hit the road. Friday, I'll be in Stockton for a medical examination. Sunday, I'll be whale watching at the Farallon Islands. Tuesday, I'm heading up to Arcata for a few days.

Eventually, I'll find my way to Minneapolis and then Toronto for NXNE. Then New York. I'll probably end up in other cities as well, so we'll see how it all ends up. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

I'm fairly used to being disappointed, so much in fact that now I only have my disappointment to keep me company. Oh, and my beard.

Also, I'm going back on the road next week. Portland, Minneapolis, Canada, New York, etc. Anywhere else would be cool too. Suggestions are welcome. Do not disappoint me.
