Titim gan éirí ort. Imigh sa diabhal!
I'm burnt-out on using photos that I took almost a year ago. I need to get out and take more pictures, but that's not all I need to do. I'm working on a project right now that will hopefully assist in abandoning the vicarious life.
That being said, I spotted a trailer for the new Silent Hill game. It's not really "new", but a remake of the original Silent Hill, and it looks like shit. I'm actually glad that Silent Hill 2 is not being remade. That game is perfect; do not touch it. I really wish I could play it on my XBox 360, but the backwards compatibility support for that game is atrocious, practically non-existent. Maybe I'll dig up my PlayStation 2 the next time I'm in California.
But really, I need to get off my ass.
Éist mórán agus can beagán. Is minic a gheibheán béal oscailt dorn dúnta.
New music for this past week (there is a lot of it):
Here's some music that I should be listening to:
The new Portugal. The Man album, The Satanic Satanist, comes out on Tuesday. I am understandably excited.

There's a band from San Diego called Lanterns that has had an EP out for almost a year now called Apocalyptic Youth. If Lanterns has to sound like anything, it's the lovechild of Sonic Youth and Bloc Party. They're not on iTunes, so I'm going to have to hunt down a physical copy of this album.

Your worst fucking nightmare, Nightbear! I saw this band locally last year, opening for a slew of shitty screamo bands that took themselves way too seriously. I wanted to pick up a copy of their EP, but all they had were, I shit you not, cassettes. As if that wasn't awesome enough, between songs with names like "Nightbear on Elm Street" and "Maul of America", the band members would take turns sheepishly telling bear jokes.
"What kind of bear can disarm bombs with common household items?"
"I dunno. What kind?"
"A MacGuybear."
The crowd, all aggro boobs, was characteristically rude, which made me love Nightbear even more.
Please, Nightbear. Put out a CD, and come back to Charleston to promote it!
And one last thing: this album needs to fucking come out already. For reals.

Okay, it's fucking bed time. I hope to be far more productive tomorrow.
