Damn it! MYSG page isn't updating again! The last post I can see was from 2 days ago, anyone else having this prblem? (If you can answer this, then prbably not)
OK so this is like the 3rd or 4th day now with no new posts on MYSG from ANYONE! I don't know what is up with SG but this is like the 3rd time that this has happened to me. Is it happening to anyone else or am I all alone here?
Is anybody there? I haven't seen anything new from anyone in over 24 hours, and all of y'all aint that quiet!
So my second post is done in less than 6 months. Not bad for being on here for a number of years without a post at all!
Ok, that is all I had planned to write before I started this blog, so now . . . I just rambling though the rest of it.
I still feel like I'm in the introductory phase here so I guess I will post some facts that most people would never guess about me. Most people see me a big, rather imposing guy and I guess that is true, but that is not really me.
1. I'm a poet, or was once. (I know I mentioned that before, but still it does seem to surprise people)
2. I'm a bassist in a local LA band of no real significance (We play for fun not cash, but cash would be nice from time to time)
3. I read fantasy novels (Ok some people have figured out that I'm a geek from time to time)
4. I have never been in a fight. (How many poets fight?)
5. I have an annual pass to Disneyland and go about once a month. (Some people really have a problem with this for some reason)
6. I am the youngest of 3 children and the youngest of my friends growing up, so I have always been treated as such. (Though on this site I'm starting to feel like an old man)
7. I am afraid to fly (This is quite a big deal when you are dating a girl who wants to travel)
8. I like romantic comedies. (I'm a sap)
9. I was so afraid to go for my first kiss that I had to wait until she was asleep before I tried. (That was a looong time ago)
10. I can levitate birds, but nobody believes me (Ok I stole that from comedian Steven Wright)
Ok, I think that is enough for now. Let’s save some info for our next chat!

I'm going to try something new and start blogging on SG. Not that I'm new to talking a lot (a few drinks and I'll talk your ear off), I am new to writing blogs. To be honest I never saw the point of it myself. I'm just a simple guy, and, while I do a unique view on things, I'm not one throw my voice out there too much. Honestly I doubt many will pay these blogs too much attention so I am not expecting much feedback.
That being said I am doing this for a couple of reasons.
1. I’ve been on this site for a few years now and I have noticed that the most common reason I have been denied a friend request is because I don’t have a blog. I find this strange. For a site that wants you to “be yourself”, the one thing you can’t be is quiet (at least, that is, if you are a guy). Now I know that there are some bad guys out there that have taken advantage of some of the girls so they are protective of themselves so I understand and respect their decisions.
2. Years ago I would have claimed to a poet and writer, but I feel that that is a lie right now. I have lost that part of me and I am trying to resurrect it. Maybe by having something I need to update on a regular basis will bring the flow of words back to my mind.
In fact, I already feel that I am babbling too much so I will end this by simply saying hello, and that I will write again soon.
