am i the only one that this new format is driving crazy? i feel like i'm back in kindergarten. or on some acid trip that is lasting three days too long.

the world cup. i wouldn't lie to you... nor admit something absurd... like... that i am the biggest soccer... er, futbol... fan ever... all year 'round. i'm just not. but, you got to love something that gets the entire world this "involved". you know?

i took a few minutes to walk around today and there is a feeling of electricity in the air. people are going about their daily lives... but there seems to be an extra spring in everyone’s footsteps... including my own. geek. random flags are hanging outside of houses, apartments and car windows. random people are wearing random country colors. i love it!

so, if you can... get into it. why not?

and while you’re cheering for whomever, take a moment to remember the monks in cambodia.

you see, the monks will also be watching the matches, but they have to do so without cheering, smiling, pumping their fists, robot dancing or hosing their friends... with shiner bock. talk about a supreme exercise in discipline.

i wish all the cambodian monks the best of luck obeying these orders... but have absolutely no plan to follow their lead.
