i've been so busy. thankfully, what with kids coming back from school and thus taking work hours from me, i have ONE (yes, ONE) free day left to do some last minute xmas shopping (after school of course) which i will hopefully have the lovely Kiley joining me.

hey everyone! its been a while. i'm soooo busy with school and work that i barely have time to sleep! and what with birthday and christmas shopping now thrown in the mix, i'm surprised i've found anything for anyone! this year, i've found online shopping to be an epic fail. the mall, even worse! i get claustrophobic amongst the masses, not to mention the hideous clashing of green and red and the gaudy decor.

this week i'll be dreading the dreaded nic blackburn's hair (which i'm rather excited to do, for the sake of the experience and playing with the kitten i found for him to adopt). and don't forget... THANKSGIVING! which i will be working! (excited! time and a half? fuck yesss). unfortunately i have to partake in dinner with my vile-being of a grandmother, and grotesquely obese and ignorant uncle on sunday.

so i'm back from bermuda! it was such an awful time! it was cool and windy, and there wasn't much for people my age to do. my grandmother was a rude cunt, and both her and my mother snore super loud, so i had to wear earplugs at night (soo uncomfortable), then i was also sick for the past two days.

hey everybody! time for a new blog

for the past week life's been okay, minus work sunday morning. the night before, someone's car alarm was going off for a while and i couldnt sleep because of it. I woke up, sick and crabby at 5.30. then, at work, we were so busy, i didn't even get to leave the espresso bar except for my meal breaks.

While on the whole work thing, we have a couple of customers who are from other countries as regulars. one man, a taxi driver who has always been very friendly and creepy to us, was explaining his religion to us, and showing that there are common things between Catholicism (he actually reads the bible) and Muslim (what he is- his family follows Abraham, the prophet). it was super interesting. I hate it when a few bad people give something such a bad stereotype. I think its impressive how these people will fast during the day for 30 days (i eat every bloody chance i get) and take time out of their day to pray five times! these people are so much more devoted to their religion than most people are to their families.

Yesterday was my brother's 19th birthday. i got him a super awesome card (which i normally suck at) that reads "the relationship between brothers is like a bridge between two cities. one is called awesomeburg and the other one is buttville. guess whos buttville? happy birthday." even though i'm not his brother i thought that card was pretty sick, considering there were pictures drawn inside, which i labeled a man drinking under the bridge as him, the yeti on the mountain as me, and various other creatures as our cats.

today i'm going to visit my other brother @ his shop, after i go buy holistic cat food (DO NOT BUY YOUR PETS THINGS WITH BYPRODUCTS IN THE INGREDIENTS. SUPER UNHEALTHY). then later, i'll pop by Kiley's new store for a visit.

SUNDAY! i leave for my bermuda cruise! i'll try to be good and take a lot of pictures! i've never been to bermuda or on a cruise so i'm wicked wicked excited!

uuuungh i think i'm getting the sick bug thats been going around work. so far three girls have had it already. i really hope its me just being my usual sick self. i'm foregoing wearing make up for once.

olive is better. just now she raced past me, and crashed through our decorative shades, yowling all the while. her incision is a little swollen, but thats part of the cat healing process apparently. check out her freckled belly!

i think i'll be going as her for halloween. i need to find some lepord/tiger print spandex.... hahaha
since i've been spending a lot of time on the couch with my laptop, keykey has been sleeping next to me a whole bunch.


works been okay. kinda stressful. i got in a huge fight with the on kid i hate there. but i figure its okay... hes got a really bad, super faggy-for-being-straight tramp stamp. well, his other tattoo sucks too... and hes short, and unattractive so OBVIOUSLY he must hate himself. i've grown to like my boss though. she sang the beegees with me a few nights back.

gonna go visit kiley at her work today. i havent seen her since friday, and that already feels so long ago!

SO TODAY, after maybe 1 - 2 hours of sleep last night, i had to rush out of my house to bring this

to the vet to get spayed. it made so so sad. i dont want her to have surgeries! i go pick her up in 3 1/2 hours, after someone comes to fix the wash.

I have only one really good pic of me and kiley from kiley's birthday party. i suck with the whole phototaking like an azn, and kiley def has more hahah.

saturday was kiley's harry potter quatre of a century birthday party! it was fun, bit awkward when my uber vanilla ex showed up and started butting into convos he had right jumping into. and extremely embarrassing when he got so fucked up he spilled water all over himself.
kiley was, of course, adorable. pictures to come soon.

work is okay. i hate how my managers keep promising this kid he'll get a promotion. he does not deserve it. he skives off working, allows his personal life to dictate how he behaves at work, always is trying to change his shifts, shows up at the drive through drunk-ish with a group of other drunk people, is seeing one of his superiors (one of my peers) and talks about wanting to get in fights with or punching customers. oh and he has this problem of NOT showering. apparently hes going to get position when i step down (so he says), but i no longer think i will. partially cos i have more time after school than i expected, and also because i will sooner quit than work as is subordinate. he is disrespectful to me now. i bet it would be worse if he has power over me. being vindictive is a sweet, sweet thing for those like me.
i can't wait to see my manager's reaction when i tell her i think i would like to remain a shift for a while longer.

on a happier note- i got to hang out with my oriental sister from another mother. we went shopping, i got some videogames and an idea of what i'll get my brother for his b'day on the 29th. then we went and ate. between the two of us (mostly her. haha keep in mind shes 5'6"ish and weighs probably 105lbs) we devoured one 6 piece cheeze pizza, one 6 piece pear and Gorgonzola cheese pizza, a full sized hummus appetizer, a full sized spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, one red velvet cake slice, and a chunk of tiramisu. we proceeded to smoke many cigarettes, play lego star wars at her boyfriends, and were both treated to 1 pint of ben and jerry's each for scoring him achievements in the game.

today was a good day. i need more of these!
