Sorry for the Starbucks hate! I just don't like the coffees so much... i haven't tried the blended cocoas. But you can't really ever go wrong with chai lattes, I think!

Interesting thing I was told about SBux is that they buy their coffee beans from numerous low-quality sources around Latin America. They scortch all the beans ever-so lightly, so that it's impossible to have a benchmark to judge the quality (or lackof) from the various different beans in the mixture, when tasting them. That'd be kind of hard anyway; you'd have to be a professional coffee taster, or something. Back in the mid-90s I'd only see 'em ocassionally, and now they're everywhere, like the plague!

I've smelled some perfume that I like to smell. It doesn't matter if it's like Versace or Tag or Axe or Elizabeth Taylor ... most are just synthetic and cut from the same ilk anyhow. But ever-so-often, a rare, pleasant cologne is nice. It's just a killer when everyone in the damn room has it all over themselves! Gah! A lot of the times, the smell finds its way into my mouth.

Oh man ... I hope your Starbucks doesn't go under because of the economy. $5.00 cups of coffee don't fly so well ... .

My grandmother got a new kittie last week! He's so cute. He won't let me touch him, but he meows about once every minute or so that he's in my presence, and I want to pet him, although he will not grant me to do so. He dances and rolls over on his side, as if he were trying to play with me ... and right by my hands, but still, will not let me touch him. The lil' guy's terrified of the other simese and spaniels around, so I have to shun them away. As soon as he shows his apprehension, they just chase him everywhich direction! He's Norweigen Forest Cat named Rowan via the adoption agency. I'll have to get a picture of him when I can.

Have fun on yer trip! Got my fingers crossed for no inter-dimensional accidents (like that Twilight Zone episode where the guy was stuck in a different dimension on the other side of the wall, haha!).
