I should probably post a new blog right?

I've been living like a 21 year old lately, despite the fact i'm about to turn 30!
Too many cute boys around
Not gonna go into details though!

However, it may also be because of some shit news i got recently!
My nan has just been diagnosed with breast cancer, she is having a lumpectomy tomorrow and starting treatment, hopefully, everything will be ok.
This makes her the third woman on that side of my family to have breast cancer, 2 died from it
So, i will be going for screening and possibly genes testing to see what my chances are!

Since all that news, i have been enjoying life, going out with my friends, loving my job and planning to go travelling in November to Thailand, Singapore, Australia and Fiji!

It was shot in a freezing cold outdoor swimming pool but it was so much fun to shoot and i'm pretty pleased with the outcome.

Once again i have been mega busy, i have a new job!
I am a visual merchandiser again for Marks and Spencer and i love it, i also love the store i'm working at now, everyine is so nice and so much more relaxed than anywhere i have worked before.

I'm rehearsing still for 'The History Boys' which is going ok and on in 2 weeks!!!

We've had some awesome gigs lately with the band but i really want to change the band name!
We are an Elvis tribute band and are currently called Eel Fish Parsley, this was chosen when a few of the guys first got together as a bit of a laugh, however, i think the name is silly and we are now wanting people to take us seriously.
If any of you can come up with some good names that would be hugely appreciated

It's been a while since my last post, and that is because i have been crazy busy (nothing new there!)

So, i've moved out of the home i own with my ex and back in with my dad, which is very weird

I'm now between the two places a lot, which is kind of difficult.

I'm teaching a lot of pole,

I'm rehearsing a lot with my Elvis band







I've been asked to be, i guess, an extra in the play 'The History Boys' with my local performing arts company, i'm playing the headmasters secretary, i have no lines i just move the set about, flirt with and kiss one of the pupils!
Never had to kiss on stage before, should be interesting!
I highly recommend the film though, if you've never seen it.
We had a photo shoot for it last weekend:

The cast are awesome and i think it's gonna be so much fun.

I've had 3 interviews for 2 jobs in 1 week!
I didn't get the 1st one, but to be honest i didn't expect to, what with 12 peple going for 1 position!
Still waiting to hear about the 2nd.

I went on my first urban exploration!
It was pretty damn scary for me, but looking back at it, i loved it so much.
The fact we bumped into some guys doing a photoshoot and another group of urban explorers made me feel a little more at ease.


I got a new tattoo, i bought it for myself and my brother (he got a little green one) for his birthday:

I won best actress last night!!!



My award was for when i played Grace Farrell in Annie just before christmas, i was so shocked that i won.

I've had the most mental weekend, thursday night i saw Totem by Cirque Du Soleil which was just amazing.

Friday i went to an annual rugby club event, it was a night for a college rugby team, so i was technically partying with a bunch of 18 year olds!

And then obviously, Saturday night i was at The Southwick Players Awards night, it's my local drama company's annual event, which looks back over the 6 shows from the last year. Competition was very tough!

Throughout all of this i have also had to work, so as you can probably imagine, i am cream crackered!

Ok, so to sum up 2011:

A lot of therapy!

Let's just say it was a year FULL of ups and downs and i couldn't be happier that it's over, come on 2012, it must be my year!
