So after a year I decided to come back...... I guess I missed the open attitude of this site.
I'm still very much single, but not that bothered about it as much as I was. So I'm gonna be more involved this time round. I'm gonna blog more, I'm gonna comment more, I'm gonna hopefully become a part of a community.... I'm gonna get more friends here so they can bloody read my blogs! haha

not really been active on this site .....my love of tatoo'd girls and friendly banter never really outweighed my laziness....
Talking of being lazy... I've pretty much been uninspired for the last few months... realizing today that I hadn't played my guitar in over a month. Music is or was my one joy that I could and would do anyime of the day..... I always had time to play a wee tune or write something. but recently its become more frustrating. I pick up my guitar and nothing happens.... nothing comes to me.....it feels like I've forgotten how to play.
So... I'm making a concious choice to play my guitar more... If i don't have music I'm nothing.... I'm somebody else.... and I don't want to me somebody else... I'm me.... and I like me ..... and now I'm sounding like John Candy from planes, trains and automobils.......
anyways, all i'm saying is I'm gonna try and get outta this funk..... starting by playing music more..... and using this site more!!

Life sucks just now, I'm lonely, missing home and I think early signs of depression are seeping in .... it was my birthday too the other day ... YAY for old age!!

I'm good.... still single, but felling much more positive about love... and life!! I've been watching the Canucks games with my arse on the edge of the seat.... infact game 3 of round 2 is on right now!! SO EXCITING!!
I did a wee bit of flirting with a girl who works at my local safeway... I know it doesn't sound like much but for me it was a bit of a big deal.... as I said before I'm trying to go out more and meet new people and meet more single girls!!
I have been writing a lot more, playing my guitar a lot more frequently....infact earlier today I bought a mandolin, that should be fun! Also... I've met a couple new guys at the open mic night that I play every now and then, so hopefully mybe get some jams together and maybe even start a band!!
Talking about bands, I went to see the Fleet Foxes and I haven't stopped listening to them since!! I think they're one of my new fav bands.

Hello folks!!
Just thought I'd keep ya'll up to date with my comings and goings.... I'm quite busy just now as I have a trip back home to Bonny Scotland on the 10th of March! I'm going home for one of my best friend's Wedding...... I'm super excited to see my friends cos we're still a close bunch having been friends since early high school. Its a really mixed feeling, on one hand my two friends are getting married after dating for a long time (I think its because of me that they met when we were all 13) and I couldn't be happier for them, on the other hand this is the first friend from my group of friends to get married, which not only freaks me out that we're getting old but also makes me think that I'm nowhere near getting married.... I mean growing up I always figured I be married by the time I was 30... I'm 27 this year, I mean don't get me wrong, it could still happen but It just makes me feel l have to meet "the one" right NOW.... anyways I'm single and going to a Wedding, so I'm hoping for some drunken wedding sex!! =)
On an additional note, I'm playing drums in the Wedding band! I'm super excited because music is my life and when I decided to move to Vancouver I didn't realize that giving up the drumming for a few years would be so hard. I'm kinda stressing out about it though. You see, I'm flying in the night before the wedding and about an hour after I arrive I'll be going for a 3 hour band practice, Its gonna be intense as I'm sure I'll be jet lagged to fuck!! ..... And then there is the day itself... I'm only home for a week so I hope not to be completely spazzed out with jet lag the whole time.
Just wanna say a big thanks to Alkaline for the shout out, I am new here, I'm still finding my way around this site and she's right, a few more friends wouldn't be a bad thing!! I'm gonna be completely gutted when she leaves Vancouver.... When my Visa extension thing was taking ages to come through I was home for 4 months, and one of the things I was looking forward to seeing the most was Alkaline, honestly I dunno how work is gonna be without her, she is like my sister from another mister.... but enough with this soppy bullshit, I'm fucking Jealous she's getting to leave!!
