There I said it. I always try and make a effort but, I fail most of the time.....well, at least I have good intentions right?
Anyways, shit's crazy lately, Matt & I are finally getting married in August, I already found the dress and most of the big stuff is done.
Kara can walk and it's crazy cute, and she turned one in February....it's too much too handle sometimes.
I started off this blog because my head was filled with confused warm and fuzzy thoughts...sound weird? Yes, I know, I was going to to try and sort through them in this blog posting but, looks like I've been distracted by the new photo sets and my own general ADD. I'm sure I'll think of it later, I should write these down and write about them later when I have time.
Possibly? Maybe? If I remember, which is unlikely....

FINALLY! Time to sit down and relax. I'm not exactly tired but, I know I should probably just chill out and pass the eff out. I need the sleep, Kara is even more active and aware of what's going on....which means I'm running around way more than usual. I'll survive, it's probably a good thing for me. Yesterday was Thanksgiving which was fun, crowded and crazy but fun. Matt was working today so Kara and I decided to stay in for Black Friday, you wouldn't have caught us dead out there in that madness. It's bad enough we're going to venture out tomorrow afternoon to visit my grandma (she lives in a yuppie suburb, where the traffic is horrible ALWAYS). Hopefully, the streets will be clear since it's the day after but, you never know.
Nothing too crazy other than the normal stuff has been going on. It's almost Christmas so we've started Christmas shopping already. We're not going crazy this year for Kara like we normally would, but she'll only be 10 months old and won't know the difference, and I already know that everyone else is going to smother her with gifts this year. I have NO IDEA where I am going to put all of it. I'll figure it out. She already has her Christmas outfit, which I got months in advance so I wouldn't have to worry about being short on money this month with all the gift buying. I alraedy know what I'm getting Matt, he basically picked out what he's getting me. He's a practical gift guy so clothes and things like that are always good. I do know what I'm going to get him for his birthday though...I should probably buy it now, then I'll be all done and if I want to pick up a few extra things here and there I can. He already got one of his gifts early, but that's okay, he really wanted it and it was only like $10. His gifts will include a Carhartt jacket and an Under Armour sweatshirt, it's a 70$ sweatshirt, he fell in love when he saw it so naturally I'm going to pick it up. We're big Bass Pro shoppers so I have a feeling at least one of my gifts will be coming from there. That's what we told his mom what we wanted for Christmas was Bass Pro gift cards, I'm sorry I'm outdoorsy probably more so than most girls (hey just because I get my nails done doesn't mean I can't shoot a gun better than most dudes) even though I'm not a crazy hunting or fishing lover... I do love their clothes.
Well, I definitely just got side tracked and sent an email for a job position I just saw on Craigslist. Hopefully, they'll send me back some good news. I know it's Saturday technically but, who cares, as long as I'm looking right?
I'm tired now, I'm going to finish watching Pretty Little Liars and lay in bed.

I'm entranced by Duck Dynasty, this seems to be a frequenting pattern in my life. My love of rednecks and intense beards will always outweigh anything else I have to do. I did end up staying up to finish Kara's costume for Halloween
She's a baby octopus but, the outfits pretty gender neutral (obviously) so naturally I had to add a super cute lavender bow on it. We're taking her to a Halloween party at a Harley dealer tomorrow morning, and I wasn't real keen on hearing, "OH MY GOD WHAT A SWEET LITTLE BOY!" and then having to have that real awkward conversation where we go through the "Oh, I'm sorry, I couldn't tell." I get that baby's are also, like her costume, gender neutral so it's not like it makes me angry. I just feel bad for people who feel so embarrassed. Like, no, it's cool, I get it, she's not wearing anything girly so how are they to know? Anyhow, it should be fun. I always enjoy looking at all the clothes and the boots. It's just my mom, Matt & I that are going. It'll be nice to get out of the house. Today was a long day though, I've been up since 8 and was all over the place. Between the baby, house chores, grocery shopping and finding a set of bunny ears and a fluffy tail for me to wear on Halloween.

Well, dang....It's been over a month since I've posted and now I need to renew my membership...best $29 I've ever spent lol.
Anyways, there's lots to update....there's been some crazyness going on lately.
Well, Kara's realy good, she got her two month shots and is almost 13lbs of adorableness. We also have been doing a lot of work on the house, painting and landscaping. Well, Matt's been doing most of the landscaping because he enjoys the outside stuff when I don't. I like being outside but, not so much the hard labor aspect.
On a more annoying note, my purse got stolen out of my car, by some was I'm assuming a south suburb punk looking for money for alcohol or weed. They took all my money, my IDs, debit card ALL of my makeup because I had gone from work to my Aunt's for a party with the baby right after work. And to top it off, Kara's first ultrasound photos. So to the person who stole my purse, I hope you have to watch your grandma get raped by an iron dick since you've stolen the first photo's I have of my first child. She'll never be able to see those because you're a big enough piece of shit to just not take my money but, pretty much my whole life. If you're a girl, I hope your first born hates you and your pregnancy ruins you and if you're a guy I also hope your first born hates you and your wife is a horrid cunt of a woman and makes your life miserable.
Whew. I feel a little better.
I'm also back at work which is fine but, my one boss is hellbent on making everyone's life miserable. Lacey and I want to send some people on a boat to nowhere. Him included.
Matt's been good, we hit a rough patch where I thought that maybe this whole situation wasn't going to work out like I had wanted it to but, I'm trying and I think he is too.
I've come to realize that maybe I let things get to me too much and it makes me kinda bitchy. I mean what girl isn't a bitch but, maybe I need to just make an even bigger effort to be as nice as possible. Of course, as long as it's returned with the same effort on his part. He always used to say that I was miserable which I really wasn't sometimes I don't feel like I was getting the respect I deserved since I do make a huge effort to make our lives as perfect, well maybe not perfect but as smooth sailing as possible. I just felt a little under appreciated. Now it's better, the past week I've been really trying to make a solid effort to be happy and nice and the way I used to be. Motherhood and pregnancy really took a mental toll on me especially since I was working in a high stress situation...low stress workload high stress co-workers. I think we're on the right track.
It was also my first mother's day last Sunday which was nice, I spent it with my mom and grandma then Matt and I went to his Aunt Diane's to see his Grandma K. Which was fun, but we were both so tired. Even though it was a little late because Matt had to order it from Jared I got this awesome Pandora bracelet.
I also fully intend that I do something like this above our bedroom. Anyone have any good suggestions as to what to put? Nothing stupid though lol.
This is by far one of my favourite HIM songs. Even though I'm partial to older stuff since I've been a listener for over a decade now. I even have a heartagram tattooed on my foot and the rest of my lower back piece features the heartagram and 2 roses.
