I wasn't going to write a farewell post or anything because it feels self indulgent and wank-y as fuck but before I disappeared I wanted to say THANKYOU to the people out there that have made a difference in my life - whether you know it or not.
I've been going through some tough times lately and need to take back some of 'me'. If any of us meet again that'd be rad and Brisbanites remember, I'll always be at Press Club for a drink but until then, peace out peeps.

I HAVE A NEW JOB!! AT A REPUTABLE VENUE!! WITH PEOPLE WHO RESPECT ME!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Last night I played sick from work (which always backfires when I lie in any capacity because I was genuinely sick after I decided to call it in) and had a trial at a new venue. The problem was everyone I respect in the bartending community knew about it and seemed fit to inform me about how well I would do... NO PRESSURE!! So I went in and *bam* first order were 2 of their new house cocktails. God. Damn. It. Luckily I can talk my way out of a paper bag so managed to serve them 2 very bad cocktails but made them smile and laugh... personally? That is a success
After an hour the manager comes over to me and says 'when we get a minute I'll take you out back and we can talk about hours'
That hour never came, I stayed on til close and filled out a time sheet.
I NOW WORK FOR PRESS CLUB!!
Starting officially in 2 weeks for the re-launch
Sorry to people who I have been meaning to email too - it's been so very, very busy. I'll definately email when I get a chance, you know who you are!! <3
Apart from that I spend 3 days in Montville with Declan, Jacinta and Liam Managed to get a possum high and called him 'bro' for hours and hours while he explored our house and ate our food. Fucking stoner.
I'm so loving life right now - on a massive high Although I have no wish to jeopardise myself I do feel that there will be a low to counteract this amazing high, there always is. Persepective. Keep things in perspective
I'm off to shower then heading out for a birthday dinner/drinks dealy.
