so much going on right now, and the year is getting away from me.
we're six months into our first house, and it seems like we have had no time to get anything done. we're going to have the next two weeks off, so that will help, but i have to do other things to make some additional money in that time. so my time for gardening and home repair is going to be pretty squished. i highly reccomend buying a house right now if you can--you'll get a rock solid deal and a decent payment that will probably never change, but be prepared for a lot of work, even if the place is brand new. a house is like a child--it needs constant care and work to become what you hope it can be.
it seems that i'm truly a lucky man. my lady love and i are doing well, and are happy, but it looks like some of my best friends are having trouble in their relationships. when did we shift as a society from a nation of hard-working folks willing and able to tough out things like WW2 and the great depression, to fearful children who run at the first sign of trouble? it worries me, and even though the folks in question will never read this, i hope they all realize how short and precious life is, and that love should never be squandered so casually.

Wow, i'm a total lazy bastard. Not a post since October, shit i better get cracking.
OK, so i had gotten promoted back in august at the factory that my lady and i work at, and the in december, just before deciding to buy a house, they removed my job title. so back to being a regular old dude again...but as it turns out, a blessing. the reduction in pay allowed us to qualify for a bit of help on our home loan, and VIOLA!, we're homeowners. We had to do some repair work, and a ton of painting, but we're moved in.
Work on the book is not so bueno, but hopefully with a little dedication i can get into a rhythm soon...
And to all those lovely ladies (and hal sparks) who are on my friends list, thank you for being my friend. I realize that the majority of you will never read this or comment, and i'm OK with that, but thanks anyway. I really do appreciate having so many beautiful and sexy ladies as pals, if only online.

So yeah, now my fiancee is on here as well...and even though i never really do much here, it's nice to be able to share it with her.

In the last few months my fiance and i have moved into a new apartment, grown even nerdier, and decided that inviting chicks home with us is ok, but only for special occasions. =)
I got a new computer, which is excellent for working on our comics, playing D&D online, and of course, exploring the wonderful world of suicidegirls, which i think was the whole reason the internet was invented.
For now, thats all i have. We just got off work and need some nap time.
