These past few weeks have been so surreal.
I've been spending so much time traveling about to Haifa for rehearsals, shopping or sewing costumes for the show, I can just vaguely remember when I last found myself doing proper grown up things.
I'm working hard on it, but I'm enjoying every second, and I can't wait for all my friends [and family too!] to come and see me this weekend.

Funny thing is, when you get so involved with RHPS, you tend to forget other people still live in the real world. I was in a lingerie shop buying some black garters, asking the saleslady if she had any thigh-highs. Stupid question, I know. She replied she did, and I mumbled something along the lines of "Good, I'll need to come back here before the show". Sure enough, the woman behind the counter edges forward and asks "Oh, you DANCE?"


*Mims shifts slowly and walks towards the nearest exit*

By this point try explaining to her that you're playing the role of a 50 year old pale hunched-over junkie of a butler in the next Rocky Horror screening, and NOT an exotic dancer… to her credit I will say that wasn't the first time I was taken for a stripper/hooker, but that's a story to be told some other time.


Some slightly more serious stuff to come once the show is out of my system.

After a good few years wandering about on the site, I'm glad to announce I've got myself a subscription and can now bring myself to a new platform only to conquer it in days to come. Hurray.

So, about me:
I'm Mims, a British-American experiment currently living in the soon-to-be-city-of Yokne'am Elite, Israel. I'm not very fond of the people so I spend a lot of time in Tel Aviv with my friends, participating in various "art" projects.

I currently write for the biggest news site in Israel "Walla!" which helps me vent my need for social justice. Other times it's just me writing about masturbation.
I also write one of the most popular blogs in Israel, sharing my most private thoughts and feelings with the world on a daily basis.

I'm very interested in photography too, and for two years now I've been clicking away at the camera, adding to my resume a set or two here on SuicideGirls. You can get a taste of my photos on my deviantART account and less "formal" pictures on my blog.

My other interests outside of compulsive writing include participation in the Israeli Rocky Horror Picture Show screenings and community. Awful, I know. I've been involved with the group for about two years and have found my place in it.
I'll be playing the role of Riff Raff for the first time in February, for all you Rocky freaks out there.

In matters of the heart I'm a no-brainer. I've never been in a real relationship due to a great fear of losing myself in one. So I haven't found the right person and I'll stop the mumbling here.
Sex, however, is a different story. Though I've been sexually active since 14 I have impossibly high standards and so rarely find myself in bed with a pretty boy nowadays.

"You can look but you could never touch" kind of girl. So much for that.

I don't have many body modifications as I'm not extremely into them when it comes to my body, but I do have 5 helix piercings, 1 cartilage, 6 lobes and one 10mm stretched lobe.
