I haven't been asleep since I got up on Saturday morning, so going on about 36 straight hours without sleep. Insomnia is so much fun. I think I will actually crash here in the next couple of hours, so it is all good. It is really going to be a buzzkill going back to work on Monday, for the first time in months, I don't have class after work this Monday, so there is a silver lining

Going to the dentist on Monday. I always love going to the dentist Oh well, at least I get a day off of work out of the deal.

I've think I need to get a new car. My car died on my Friday. Luckily CosmicGirl was there to bail me out so I didn't have to walk home Still, I had to spend several hundred to have the alternater replaced. Plus, I spent a bunch more a few weeks ago on the breaks and other auto-ailments. So I'm hoping this one will get me until the end of the year. But who knows, I will probably change my mind several times over the next several months.

I love visiting the pink lady on a weekday. It may not always be the wisest thing to do, but fun nonetheless

Well, I just spent about 80% of the day writing a paper, that couldn't be more boring, for a class that is more boring. At least it is finished. I knew when I started taking MBA classes that most of them would be mind numbingly boring, but economics has exceeded even my worst fears. How I long for the undergrad days of studying Socrates and Sartre instead of economic indicators, and supply and demand curves and just shoot me right now!!
It's all good I suppose. It will be over in a couple years then no more school ever again!!!! That makes me very happy

Nothing is worse than having a really fun weekend only to be followed up by a Monday morning root canal, and a another week of work and school before the next weekend. Sunday late nights may be more depressing than Mondays themselves. By Monday, I usually except that I have to go back to work and go through the motions again, but at this point I am still trying to milk the last few hours out of the weekend before I have to admit it is over. This is one case where my insomina, that drives me nuts during the week, actually helps me put off the inevitable.
I guess it's not really that bad. So I will shut up now

Insomnia continues, so I'm posting a weblog. Well, not really. Just typing a couple of sentences. Well, not complete sentences. Some are. Just fragments.

Just got back from Jamaica with the beautiful cosmicgirl last week. Love Jamaica and all the bad things you can do in Jamaica
Now I have work tomorrow, an exam and the denist I really want to go back to Jamaica.

OK, I know I have posted a journal in forever. I can’t say I am the most prompt person, but it is all good. Well here is what’s been going on the past month and a half or so. Cherries1979 and I went to San Francisco over July 4. We had a great time. We go to visit Haight Asbury, all the touristy pier areas, saw the guys painted in silver and got to take a boat cruise in the bay. We sailed by Alcatraz and up to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Spent this past weekend in Rockingham, NC. Not quite San Fran. cherries1979 had a work thing out there so I tagged along. There’s not really a whole lot there except a mall sized Walmart. It wasn’t all bad, the hotel had rooms with hot tubs, and we love hot tubs,
