Things are getting weird again.
My fiance and I have broken it off. There's a thread about it on this site somewhere, if you care to look for it. I'd rather not talk about it anymore.
But...there's one good thing that could come out of all this. And when it finally happens, it will be worth all this trouble.

I'm so signing up for the SG TV Villa miniseries. It has my two favorite SGs ever! (That's Venla and Loretta, in case you're unobservant.)
Anyway. I might be shooting a set to submit here soon. I just got a great I idea that I might actually be able to pull off. (All my other ideas are way too extravagant, but possible for the future.) Now all I need is a camera that doesn't suck toes and I'll be fine...Grah, if only I could have applied last year like I'd planned. Then maybe I could have gone to the Villa.
But no...I'm too poor with a too lame camera.

And something scary. I need to dye my hair black and star in Japanese horror films.

Thank you all for your comments, and sorry I haven't been commenting as much as I should.
Things were worse for a while (financial and romantic problems got added into the mix, so that was fun), but they're much better now. Except for the fact that Starbucks doesn't sell chantico anymore.
Updates on problems:
1. My friend in the hospital died at the end of November. I was miserable for a while, but I'm getting better.
2. I found out my parents had taken out an extended warranty on my laptop so, even though it seems to be dead and beyond hope of repair, I might be able to do something about it. At least I have a backup of the harddrive now.
3. I have the greatest friends in the world. Two of them have written poems about me in the last few weeks.
4. I'm going to see Stars on Ice again this Saturday! Click here to see a video of a certain sexy male figure skater to find out why I love going so much. *drools*
5. One of my fantastic friends is getting married to her girlfriend this spring, and fartherklyde and I might be taking a train to New York to see them! We'll get to go by the Grand Canyon and the Great Lakes and stop in Chicago for a while.
6. I got straight A's last semester!
Anyway, that's all the important stuff. The holidays were meh, but what can you do...

My laptop died completely.
There was a memory failure.
Everything is gone, it's all gone. All my writings and pictures, everything. I had no backup. There's no way to get it back. It's all gone.
My stories, my photos, there's no way to replace them, they're gone forever.
I have a story due tomorrow. I had ten pages written, and a twelve page outline. Now they're gone as well.
What am I going to do?
Maybe they aren't really gone. Maybe there's some way I can get them back. Please tell me I can.
