If I were just starting out in the Pirate Biz, I'd probably want to have a mentor. I'd probably have a mentor named Grey Beard, or Captain Pain, or Kevin or something cool like that. He'd teach me everything he knows, and someday, he'd see me do some really excellent pirating. Then we'd share a crisp high five and have some delicious ale before I stab him with his wooden peg-leg, take his earrings and wife I don't want. 
Well I've been back for a few days, I've yet to actually hear from anyone apart from the odd friend request here and there. Conversation anyone?
On the plus side I'm quite happy with a photo I took. I was driving home from a friends house and stopped to take this, camera phones are a handy thing these days in the absence of my camera

Well I'm back on SG after maybe 3 or 4 months away, I don't really know what made me join again but I was curious to see how some people I knew were getting on etc
I guess £30 or so is a fairly large price to pay for the possibility of no reply but fuck it
