So yeah; I am a douchebag and consequently haven't updated in forever. The job front is still pretty much the same. I am still working with the oldies (but goodies...well some of them anyway) during the day and at the grocery store in the evening. I think if I have to continue the 2 job juggling act for much longer I might go crazy... On the other hand, it really makes me appreciate what I do have and makes my desire to do something bigger and better that much greater.
Nothing much on the radar in the love realm either. There is an exceptionally cute young lady whom I work with that I have been crushing on, and I got her phone number, but for some reason returning my calls and/or texts is not in her interest (i.e. "the writing is on the wall). It is so funny how somehow I (and numerous others I have heard of) are inexplicably drawn towards people who do not share the same feelings; c'est la vie!

So yeah it has been forever since I updated... Honestly, not much has changed except for the fact that I finally moved out of the 'rents house and into my own apartment. There is just something to having your own place of solitude...or maybe it was that after 8 years of being on my own living with my Mom and Stepdad was just a bit too much for me to handle. Otherwise, I'm still doing the social work thing Monday-Friday and working at the grocery store 2 nights a week and on Sundays. Oh, and my non-thesis paper for my MA was approved. Now I just need to present it, so it looks like a trip to good ole' Macomb, Illinois will be in my future. Much love to all of my fine SG friendery...here's a pic of me enjoying orange soda...

So I guess it's been a while... First off, no I did not fall off the face of the earth (again). I haven't much free time and the time I do have has been spent nerding it up in the Burning Crusade... Work has been somewhat draining as of late and I am really hoping to apply for PhD programs starting this fall. Also, I finally finished the non-thesis paper I needed to complete my MA; I'll be going up north to present it probably sometime April/May...and I hope to get out to Chicago to see my former housemates. Not much else going on...

So yeah, I haven't updated in forever. Adalynn can give me my ten lashings sometime later this afternoon
. The new job is going really well. It seems to be a really good fit for me and my coworkers are a nicely jaded set (but the funny kind of jaded; not the depressing, drinking a fifth of scotch every evening type of depressing). I actually found two friends of mine from HS who now live in Ft. Myers (yeah I know, WTF? 
). So finally I have at least someone to hang out with (although I am still waiting to meet RyanDiPietro's mom ). Other than that nothing else has really changed...I'm playing a lot of WoW lately and my human warrior (Taintrageous) is level 43 (yeah I'm a nerd). So that's really it for now. I promise not to be such a stranger...stop by and say hello.
