First of all I'd like to Thank all of you who submitted your honest oppinion to my last post regarding an idea for my Burlesque stage name. Extra hugs and kisses to tattguy069 for helping me to make the right decision in the matter, and the lovely Amina Munster for sharing her thoughts and well wishes.
I have yet to carve my name in stone but I will be using Mena Von Fleisch until I can figure it out.
In other news my Frankenstien and I have purchased our camera a cool $2500.00 and hour worth of bartering later we walked out smiling ear to ear with our camera, accessory kit, zoom lens, extra battery, top of the line memory card and 1 full year of no payments no intrest. Here are some shots we took last night...
and now for the kicker...
I had my first ever Burlesque meeting with a lady named Krista and a handfull of others including a dear boil and his ghoul, and it was amazing!
Apparently Krista has allready been approached by members of a Burlesque Troop in Toronto and told that they would like to scout our next show and have us tour Toronto! As if that wasn't exciting enough we are only in the veeeeery beginning stages of what will hopefully be the most solid troop of Burlesque performers since the Halifax Burlesque Society.
Some ideas that were discussed were dressing as roller girls or cigarette girls and cruise the bar scene recruiting new acts, posters and promotional shots taken by my Frankie and movie nights for us to all get together do hair, make-up, laugh watch past performances and movies to give us all more ideas and get in the true spirit. I didn't realize until after the meeting that this is exactally what I need in a my life, seeing as though my creative medium is modelling I think being able to celebrate that by bringing my stills to life will add some much needed dimension to my life, not to mention an entire troop of new friends to play with!
I will keep all the locals posted on the upcoming events and if any one of you want to participate just let me know and I can bring you along to our next meeting!!
As for me I am off to pretend like I am working for the next couple of hours until I can go home and take a nap.

Oooolala! So many beautiful ghouls, creative sets and friendly monsters! I have been lucky enough to spend most the day just sitting pretty lurking around the site and spying on the wonderfull people in it, as well as contributing my own dirty laundry airing in 'my pics' section.
I also practiced being a good house wife and did laundry, cleaned all our bedding, exercised off some of the weekend and simmered out the remaining poison in the hot tub.
Alone, of course since Filmmaker 123 and my Frankenstien ditched me all day for making movie magic.
I don't need him anyways, I have a new man now and he's a real scream. We're in love and will live happily ever after.
Overall a very nice day followed by good driving and even better conversation with my Bella Festis. ♥
She is helping me to brainstorm for an upcoming Burlesque Show. See the meeting is tommorow and I'm not sure how much I need to have prepared and since I have only done Burlesque once and I did it all wrong I wanted to really put effort into an idea and give it another shot!
So far I have ideas but nothing decided....

obviously any member with a pulse can see the obvious problem with the name that it pretty much is
Amina Munster.
This is a problem I have my own personal reasons for thinking of the name and actually put it together without having the intention of ripping Amina off. So what to do in the situation?
I love and respect her work as Amina Munster and don't want to be branded an idiot for trying to ride on her coat tails as that is not my intention, and honestly there is no way people would mistake me for her (although it would be an incredible compliment!) I am not nearly Amina she is someone all of her own.
Especially after all of the tattoo controversy and all she went through to protect her image (which I completely respect)
I don't want to turn around and be a fucking punk like that guy and his tattoo 'artist'
So I wrote Amina a message to see what her thoughts would be about me using the name strictly for Burlesque in butt fuck Halifax Nova Scotia the armpit of Canada.
but
I'd also like to know what you guys think, as members as fans of Amina and the site please let me know if it would be something you would see as a total rip or something distinct enough to not be confused with the lovely and unique
Amina Munster.

Early morning Saturday and we are busy, busy, busy!!!
Last part of the week was spend celebrating my Mumsy in-law's Birthday which meant lots of cake, chicken wings & prezzies which always make for a good time!
I also started working on a movie for a friend's year end project. This one is very abstract so it's pretty fun 'cos all the images will essentially be collaged together and things like continuity and scheduled shots are only suggestions. So it's been relatively painless thus far. I am shooting for a couple hours later today as well, this time my lover will play my beef so that makes things even more copacetic.
Tommorow we are off to help Film maker 123 finish up his amazingly fun project that kicked off our relationship and inspired my Queued set so you should all ask him to see it when it's finished. It'lll be awesome!! I can't wait to celebrate at the screening in April. Film Maker has worked really hard and put in alot of hours and he deserves to be in the spotlight for all his efforts!!! I ♥ You Ricardo!!
Also...
First thing in the morning with a 'lil Depeche Mode and a huge glass of ice cold water.
It doesn't get better than this!

My goodness am I ever fussy today! and yesterday!
A force to be reckoned with...

Hmmmm...
Coming home to a nest full of kitties was nice, after a glass of wine a spat with my Fest and a bowl of ice cream, cuddling up with my winkles dog and watching true crime shows seemed to sooth my distemper...
At least until the hubby came home beaming about a sound editing session gone hella good with Film Maker 123.
His excitment rocked the boat, the lights came on the kitties went running then the scowl reclaimed my face sending my faint smile sailing.
He is reading peacefully now and I realize that his nice and calm demeanor has an infectious effect on me.
This is why I love him.
He makes the wrong things right.

Awwwww! Sunday evening is always such a depressing time. It means back to the daily grind first thing in the A.M I am not a fan. 
I had an awesome weekend tho! Friday things were pretty relaxed just hung out with friends had a celebatory glass of wine and crashed early. Saturday was a clusterfuck of too many good things happening with too many good friends and not enough hours in the day to do them all. I opted to do the house party hop with new friends Meghan, Nikki & Dristine. I ended up stirring sleepless the rest of Saturday night and then lazing around and ordering take out with my bestfriend Fest Sunday mornaftereve. And now after enjoying a nice warm jacuzzi bath:
I am ready to collect all my kitties slip into some pj's and cuddle under the covers with my love and have the screams of teenagers being slaughtered at summer camp lull me to sleep.

This is an awesome feeling...kinda like how a musician must feel after hearing there song on the radio for the first time. Thanks to everyone who made this possible for me and all the support I have had from the staff! The girls are so sweet and eveyone has been so welcoming, it's a good feeling I recommend it to anyone.

I am tres confused on how to use this thing! I want to leave comments and don't know how??? And adding friends has been a nightmare!! If anyone can forward me some pointers it will be greatly appreciated!!!
I will also be posting a rejected set this evening after I re-format my pics. I am wearing my wig in that one too but it is super cute! I'll also try to post some pics without the wig so you can see what I actually look like.
