I love Sundays and Mondays. Those are my weekends. ::sigh:: Tuesday. Blarg.

Sundays I work, but I get out at 4, and when I do Greg is at home waiting for me. Then Monday is out day off together. Always. I wish it were still Monday.

This past Sunday we had a mini-horror fest. MOre like an 80's horror movie marathon. Included in the many we watched were "The Stuff" and "Fright Night". Neither of which I had ever seen but Greg had and just bought for like $3 a piece.

"The Stuff", oh my, what to say about that? The movie was good only in that it made me laugh hysterically. I think they should re-make that bitch. It's a good premise. Someone just needs to do it right.

"Fright Night"... oh oh my. How the fuck had I never seen this!?!? shocked It was AWESOME. I loved it. I don't usually get scared by horror movies, and this one seemed no different... until I tried to go to sleep that night. Haha. I saw Chris Sarandon whenever I closed my eyes. And not the hot Prince Humperdink, no, the grossly deformed vampire! EL SUICIDO LOCO (Mmmmm, Humperdinnnnnnnnk...)

But seriously, that movie is so fucking good. I hear there is a re-make in the works. Now that makes me sad. Why go and re-make something that was so well done the first time? Pshaw.

Oh oh. And I finally saw Death Proof! I don't know what all the bad reviews were about. I LOVED IT! Them bitches are HOT!

Well, that's pretty much all I had to say... oh, and this...

Strange Ink Comics is now accepting submissions!

Doing your online comic for the love? Now you can do it for the money!

Strange Ink comics will launch an online comics website this fall, but before that can happen we need to fill out our 7 title roster.

We're looking for 7 art teams (or individual artists)who are already producing an online comic or are getting ready to kick off a project you've been sitting on for years. Old or new, we don't care. We want your artwork and we're willing to pay for it.

Artists (or teams) that are offered a contract (the title will be exclusive to Strange Ink Comics for the duration of the run, but all rights will be retained by the creator) will be expected to produce a scant *4* pages/episodes/strips per month (whatever format your comic runs in) and will be paid a scant $5 for each. That's $20 per month! Which is more than you're making right now working for "love."

"Is $20 really worth it?" you ask? Pssh! Yeah it is! Here's just a sample list of things you could buy with $20:

-A gallon of gas
-A matinnee of "Ratatoullie"
-Secure your domain name for like 5 YEARS!
-20 lottery tickets (or 10 if you're a high-rolling $2
ticket person)
-More comics
-An investment it in a low interest/high yield venture
capitalist opportunity
-A vacation (from your regular toothpaste)
-Dinner at a fancy restaurant like Applebees

We don't care, it's YOUR $20! Every month! For doing something that you're already doing for "love" which can't be redeemed for ANY of the things listed above.

If you're interested, the submission period begins holy crap! WEEKS AGO!

So put together your digital files (nothing more than 3-5 pages/strips/episodes and nothing more than 1M jpeg total, please). Better yet, I'd prefer if you just send a link (since you're already so web-savvy) to the work that is already in the public domain or to that super-secret file on your server space that no one knows about where you've been hiding your ideas (we won't show it to anyone, promise!).

Title it: "strange submission" and email it to: submissions@strangeinkcomics.net

Right now! Go! Before I spend your money!

kiss

D'you want the skinny?

Girl + nazi fixation + lolita fixation + rape fantasy = tasteless set.

Add immature responses to those who didn't like it, as well as more nazi bullshit imagery on her pictures folder & myspaz, and you get a nice witch burning. Well-deserved or not.

i still don't have much experience with horror movies. a few halloweens ago i told my friends to pick out something super scary at the video store to surprise me with, and they brought back the original children of the corn. i was all psyched til i realized how ridiculous it is...what a let down. i think it's the psychological stuff that truly freaks me out, a la The Ring

A comic book series came out a couple years ago, now a tpb by Gigantic. Not horror
but all the main characters love comics, zombie movies, piercings, and grave robbing.
Fun stuff. Yur t-shirts made me think of it. Cool shirts.
