Back in Morgantown. I'm living with Adam and Erin, who are way better roomates than my last two. Adam got me a job at a coffee place in the mall, so I'm making a little money. The work is easy, but pretty boring. Not going out much. Trying to save money. Paul's in SC working a contracting job for the next two months. Right now, life is pretty slow and low-hassle.
It's that magical time of year...
When my paychecks are running low, and I have to cut costs and start pawning my stuff. Long story short, I'm cancelling my account until I get a new job.

My husband and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary this week. It's hard to fathom how much our lives have changed in this short period of time.
If this post had a title, it would be: Alternative fashion choices and your career.
A steady job in theatre means (among other things) that you don't have to worry about your alternative fashion choices affecting your chances of promotion. This weekend, my gauged ears actually made me promotable. My boss' sister and brother-in-law were in town, so she's been on edge trying to keep them entertained. I earned brownie points for having several conversations with her brother-in-law about the basics of ear stretching, organic jewelry vs. synthetic, and the top ten reasons why you shouldn't pierce yourself.

The latest show we've opened is incredibly funny and I'm really proud of our cast.
My brother is heading out to college, and I couldn't be more excited. There's an apprentice here who reminds me of him, and makes me homesick everyday. My goal for this year is to visit him in Ithica

According to BBC news, the chinese food minister has been executed for misconduct and corruption (leading to the shipments of tainted toothpaste to the U.S., as well as many MANY industrial accidents and deaths). I'm torn between deploring the human rights violations in other countries and wishing we punished our leaders the way we punish our petty criminals.
