Well I was pleasantly surprised this evening when I took my son to see Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. George Lucas didn't change ANYTHING!!!!!! Not that I think he could have made it much worse. But hey, I digress, he loved it, hell he loved 3D. I think he'd watch Titanic in 3D lol. Oh well, kids, he doesn't have enough respect for the Original Trilogy but he was raised in the CG era where its more important to look pretty than to have good story telling.
All in all it was a good day, a few hours of work, a few hours of play, a couple hours at the movies with the family. Only thing that could have made it better was a satisfactory report card from my son. Still trying to work out some tutoring issues, he's bright enough, but lacks focus, reminds me of me a little too much.
Well there are certainly more resources available for him than there was for me, now it's just a matter of getting access to them.
