Well howdy howdy ho. So far life has been going good. Since we last talked, the night before my birthday, I got shitfaced on the level I haven't in a while, and paid for it..badly. Advil, coffee, and cinnamon toast crunch were my friends the day after. For the rest of the week, it was one beer and one beer only, or my body was going to punish me.

That Saturday, I hung out with Cpkz,Fringe,Hemi and my little brother and had dinner at the montage out here. Shit was downright tasty. After that not much happened. Went to work, did my part in a degree with the scottish rite, and that was pretty much it. I got a new shaving kit from Harry's, which is awesome and a great value as well. I also got a new mattress which is so nice.

Besides that, it's the same old shit, just on a different day.

Sweet mother of all that is holy, gaaaah. I went and got the start of the sleeve this Saturday, and omen time struck again that it was gong be bad when I lost two packs of cigarettes somewhere along Hawthorne avenue out here. Did I listen to it. Nooo. Well the session went awesome.he totally freestyles the start of the sleeve on my arm and never went to a stencil, which I was pretty stoked with, and then he started tattooing. It got painful in the areas it was for my upper left arm, and then I left. Well I followed his directions for aftercare- leave it alone for three to four day and then apply lotion. By that time, my arm was a a giant painfully stiff moving scab. My god. Now I know to ignore that aftercare instruction and follow my old regimen.

I will post a pic of it when it is finally halfway healed and not a giant scab.

As for upcoming deals,on the eighteenth I'm hanging out with some people from on here as well as a few other friends to celebrate my escape from the womb 29 years and three days from that time. If your in PDX and have nothing to do, let me know, and you're more than welcome to join us.

Other than that nothing much out here going on for me.

Soooooo, life has been interesting for a bit.

At work, I've been shifted into another department. I'm now working in the plant's chrome electroplating department. It's been cool except when I got 156 degree chrome solution splashed over my back and had to be rinsed in water that was about 30 degrees. Long story short, a guy working on the tank over grabbed what he thought was a rack where we chrome the chrome parts but had actually grabbed a pump line that was still pumping. Luckily it's the safer form of chrome solution and is about 94-98 diluted so no reason for me to freak out right now.

As for other things, got to meet up with some fellow SGPDX'ers and had dinner at Pok Pok. Good times and good food was had. As for everything else in the life outside of work. Not much else, I get the outline on my sleeve this Saturday, then I'm excited because the week aftEr, I work two days then take off the rest as my I have the rest of the week off for my birthday. So it should be good times and hijinks will possibly ensue.

Weeeeelp update time...

Well on Friday, I made my way over to the artist Whois going to be doing right sleeve (Craig Brown at Portland historic tattoo) the outline willbe started on May 2nd soo hooray hooray. I also stopped by and dropped the money and the application for the Scottish Rite, so that's taken care of..yay

This Friday, I'm heading out to the SG book signing/after party. I'm down for hanging out with some awesome members of the opposite sex and have some drinks in the process.

Other than that, life is still pretty monotonous. Good times all.

So blah, I've still got these emotions all messed up with my grandfather's death, but eh, I'm taking some time to get some things situated.

One thing I've decided is Ill try to attend Sabbath services at a local reform congregation. I miss that a little, being able to talk with fellow Jews and just let my Jewishness flow. The congregation I'm looking at is a small one that meets at a Presbyterian church, and I'm looking at maybe going to their joint Passover/Easter service they are throwing with the church. I promise y'all though, I'm not going to change into a zealot, although I think most Reform Jews are "meh" about zealots and all that noise.

I'm also looking at joining at the Scottish rite out here. I'm interested in some of the aspects of freemasonry that they delve deeper into and all that noise.

As well, I'll be going to get a consult from another artist for my right arm, which I'm also planning a sleeve for.

Other than that, it's the same old, same old.

Fuck it, I'm in a lazy kind of mood right now. I got through responding to like 3 of the comments from my last blog, before my laziness just took hold.

So I'll say it here- thanks for the condelences. And thanks for reminding me why I stick around here. Because true, I love seeing boobs and tattoos like every red blooded heterosexual male should, the community of this site just kicks some major fucking ass.

So again thanks, and if I remember, pirate rum is some good shit, check it out for the ideal sipping rum.

Welp, I just found out, about a half hour ago, that my last remaining grandparent, the only one I really had a relationship with, passed away. A bit of me is sad about his death, while a part of me os glad that he is at peace ( he had been battling colon cancer for about two years now.) Mix that with some of the other emotions I felt towards him (as he had done some pretty reprehensible things to my mother that I had found out about a year ago, and I'm kind of torn on my deeper feelings and how I should remember him by.

Bleh.

Howdy..

Well I went to Portland omic con and had an awesome time with CPKZ and a few of the other members I met up with, IWe sat at a few of the panels they had and I ended up buying a number of prints, between Jamie Tybdall and Greg Horn. But the highlight of the day was still this-
