well, I passed audition #1 for grad school (University of Central Florida). University of Kentucky this weekend... then 3 more to go!


Florida was awesome, got to stay with one of my good friends that I haven't seen in a while, and my best friend was able to make the trip with me. it was a short one, but we made the best of it.

Anyone who hasn't checked out Tangerine's new set, Red Hot, you need to do so immediately. She is way too beautiful, and this set is amazing.

I think it's about time for a new post...

Over the weekend, I got to play with 3 of my colleagues in an event here called Nights of a Thousand Candles. It is quite possibly the biggest holiday event around, at this nature preserve here in Myrtle Beach, and I can't tell you how happy I was to be apart of this. The people seemed to really enjoy our music, and I know I enjoyed the scenery very much, it was absolutely beautiful (well, at least compared to what I'm used to seeing in this city). It takes place at night and is a low-light event, so photos didn't quite come out the best, but I still would like to share some with you:

well, that's really all that's been going on lately, is hours of practicing and rehearsing to prepare for that concert. still have been applying to grad schools and practicing to get ready for that as well. ANYONE OUT THERE WANT TO WRITE MY STATEMENT OF PURPOSE FOR ME? YOU'D BE SO FUCKIN AWESOME!

Nothing really new over here, but figured I'd right something... Currently taking a break from studying for the GRE so I can get into grad school next fall. Saw Skyfall the other night, great movie. Daniel Craig, you are one sexy man, and make a great James Bond.

Found out I get to go see Cattle Decapitation in two weeks, as well as Between The Buried And Me and Russian Circles in March. I am really excited about this, hardly any good shows come around here anymore.

Also want to say that SG has been rather great lately, meeting some new people, and enjoying the sets. feel free to add me though! always room for more...
