I lost you both a while ago now...

But it still hurts just as much. I remember holding you when I was a little girl and thinking how much it would hurt if one of you died, but knowing that the day it happened would be a long way away. I had you for my childhood, a few short years. And now I'm an adult, you're gone and I'm realizing how fast my life is going by. Before I know it, everybody I love will be gone, and I'll be old and fading. But for now, you'll be in my heart.
