I think it says a lot about a job when you love the people you work with so much that you put up with the political BULLSHIT!!
I may be moving a little slower as I progress in my pregnancy..HOWEVER..I am still a quick draw to call bitches on their bullshit and shoot them down right off their high-horses! Nothing to bitch about today..I've been up for over 24hrs now and I am getting ready to go to bed so I can get up and work another two 12hr night shifts...this is my life. I don't know where I get the energy from but I can manage to do this every weekend but can't manage to do stuff around the house during the week.

The offer on the house that was accepted last week...well the owners cancelled the contract and went with a "higher offer". We talked to our lawyer today and he said that although the behavior of the seller's agent was shady it wasn't illegal.
Back to square one

Working tonight and the next two nights 12hr shifts...Ughhh not sure how much longer I can do nightshift. My pregnant body is not handling this very well...

Our offer on the house was ACCEPTED!! Step one is complete...now we have to have the VA inspection and assessment completed...of course this is where things went bad last time. Trying not to get my hopes up too much. My husband and I would really like to be in a house by the time the baby gets here...but if it doesn't happen it wasn't meant to be. I guess my problem is my LOVE AFFAIR with really old houses...the 1800's have such wonderful things like custom cabinetry and built-in bookshelves..and they suck me in. The problem being that previous owners updating and taking shortcuts. The last house had Structural and electrical problems with it that were very serious... cutting into support beams to run duct work for the heat and exposed live electrical wires in the basement. We are using the same inspector because he was so thorough last time and we trust him to give us the facts whether they are good or bad.

Some great things about the house...
4 car garage...our two cars, workshop and storage space
4 bedrooms.... we are expecting our second child so everyone gets a bedroom and there is still room to grow
2 bathrooms!! there are no words to describe how awesome this is!!
Custom cabinetry in the kitchen... it is beautiful!!
Built-in bookshelves and storage in almost every room of the house as well as many closets
Hardwood floors throughout except one bedroom...which would be the baby's room so it is fine.
New roof and decks within the last 4 years
New furnace and water heater
New septic
Large backyard
its a couple of blocks from the school and our son is starting kindergarten this year
The price is great...allowing us to do some updating of appliances and possible install a wood stove for neck winter.
Our mortgage including insurance and taxes is still $700.00 less than our BAH allowance..meaning that we can afford for me to work part-time after the baby gets here...

Some downfalls....
it is a little further from work than we wanted
it is further from my parents and sister who help us with childcare
We need to get new appliances for the kitchen dishwasher,stove, and refrigerator ...the current ones are very old and not efficient.

Trying to keep a POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE!!

Aggravated, we made an offer on another house on Monday night and we still haven't heard back with a yes or no!! According to our buyers agent they have until tomorrow to get back to us. I HATE waiting!!

It's quarter of 3 in the morning... I'm waking the Hubby up for sex!!!

Slept like the dead today...catching up after not getting enough sleep between shift I guess. I mean I was incoherent and drooling most of the day. The only reason that I woke up was because of a massive leg cramp that brought me to tears. Not eating or drinking all day probably contributed to this...ughh. Now we are going to see another house and if it is as nice as Ben is telling me then we are going to make an offer. It would be very nice to be in a house before this baby comes! Only 14 weeks left to go.

Spending the day with the Hubby before I work the next two nights...12 hour shifts! We get new carpet for the entire apartment on Monday morning...only good thing about the apartment flooding!! We just had some amazing sex...very delicious actually...my entire body felt alive. I think today makes an entire 7 days straight of sex...not bad for a preggo
