WOW...went back to work. Mixed feelings. Missed the kids a lot. Pumping at work went OK. Emmalynn loves the babysitters. I was totally exhausted after each shift and passed out when I got home. I hope that I can handle doing these 12 hour shifts three in a row. I felt ill on Sunday..not sure if it was my blood sugar or just plain exhaustion. I am getting tested for diabetes this coming week...they are wondering if it was just gestational diabetes or if I really have it. It is worrisome but I have to find out so I can take care of it.
Going back to school to get my bachelors degree in nursing. I shouldn't add it to my already full plate but I feel like I need to get it to stay competitive in my field. Other hospitals are requiring it for hiring even though technically it has no effect on your pay rate or skill in 99% of the cases where they require it.
