I sort of wish I'd gone to their show here at the Tower, or really any of their shows save the ill-fated Trocadero one ca. 2000. But the Hollywood Bowl would have been way better than any of them- think about all the awesome people they clearly are influenced by that played that venue in its heyday.

you should really get a bike this weekend. There's an article in the weekly about hipster LA bike gangs, and it made me so mad cause I totally had the idea first. assholes!!!

B & S is one of those bands that would be my favourite band for a year if only I'd get around to actually buying a couple of albums.

Speaking of Belle and Sebastian, has it ever occured to you how much they can sound like the Kinks?

(In reference to the Weakerthans) Obviously you need to live in a cultural mecca like Northeast Ohio, rather than that backwater Los Angeles.
