Went to Halloween Horror Nights two times this past week. Good times!

I haven't ever purchased a car before. I'm part freaking out and part stoked.

Fender has been pretty chill other than freaking the fuck out when it thunders. His ear surgery went well and he has no cancer:




Still playing weekly zombies games. You should really check this game out - it's a great strategy game and takes a while to play and is quite entertaining:




I've been obsessing over our wild birds. I put up a feeder about a month ago and got a bird bath last week. We have cardinals, blue jays, titmouses, wrens, carolina chickadees, robins, brown thrashers, and mourning doves. A neighborhood cat killed one of the doves, but overall the birdwatching has been fun. God, I'm getting old:

In other news, my grandpa is dying. He fell and broke his hip 4 days ago and got pneumonia post-op and is now in Hospice care confused and complaining that he wants to die. Tonight he asked me if we could pull the plug on him. I told him that there aren't any plugs to pull and that his body will let him die when it's ready. Hard conversation to have. I'm going to miss him so much. My grandma is who I have the cardinal tattoo for on my forearm and now I'm trying to figure out how I can incorporate him into it so they can be together on me in memory. I love my Peeps - you could always count on him for a dirty joke and a story of how someone pissed him off. He's my kinda guy. <3

Getting excited for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. Stephen and I have our passes already and are ready to go at the end of the month! Fiona Apple is on October 1st, too at Hard Rock. Good stuff on the horizon.

Had a bad day yesterday.



Dad (boss) was pissed at me for missing a lot of the day. Then fought with the hubby for the rest of the afternoon at work. Then he ran over a squirrel on the way home. So bummed. I hate that our big-ass vehicles have to mow down animals. Just makes me feel so helpless to it all. Blah.

Already nervous about Fender's surgery next Wednesday. He's such a cute boy - I don't want him to lose his ear and have to go through all that.

My precious Fender just turned 8 this week, and we found out he has a mast cell tumor on his ear. It hasn't spread internally and will be removed via surgery, but he will probably lose most of his ear. My little boy has gone through so much shit in his short life it's just maddening. Send your good mojo to him, please.




The latest tradition in our house has been Zombie Fridays. Our friend Jonny comes over, we get stoned as hell, and play this zombies board game. Has anyone here played it? It's insanely fun and addicting.





In other news....I saw this driving around the other day.




Bedtime. I have a matinee for the show I'm currently in tomorrow. I'm effing exhausted and can't wait for a damn break. Ugh.

My friend owns an animal sanctuary where they rescue abused and neglected farm animals and let them live a happy life on their land. We went out there for a little party this weekend. Here are some pics.

Doing the same junk as always. Theatre, working, singing, getting into trouble. Started smoking pot again recently, so that's been an interesting blast from the past.
