I have a new friend
The lesbian I had a crush on is it, she's cool, I understand the situation and am cool with it, it's just great to meet someone who shares the same interests as me, likes the same things I do and generally just gets me. We hung out on Thursday, went and saw a tattoo studio where I booked a consultation with an amazing artist, then she suggested going to watch Cabin in the Woods next week as she knew I wanted to see it. I HAVE A MOVIE BUDDY She's also coming to the Defeater gig with me and my best friend.



I'm seriously gonna try lose some weight, not that I'm obese or anything, could just shed a few pounds. Basically just need to cut down on my sugar intake, which is excessive to say the least. Luckily I' active and work all the time or I would be obese.



I have approximately 14 days to find a new place to live, need to get it done before the Jubilee double bank holiday as I'll be at work all weekend. Might only do a short term room share until I can find something that suits me better, unfortunately will need to put all my stuff into storage.

Third times a charm (Third attempt at this blog without noobing out and fucking it up somehow)

Firing a minion first thing on a Sunday morning always leaves me a bit edgy for the rest of the day.
When your boss pulls you out to talk about a reported incident, let him finish speaking, don't talk back, interrupt or generally act like a dick, do however, listen, learn and move the fuck on. He wanted to be treated like an adult while acting like a petulant child, so now he's a suddenly an unemployed adult.



I did a little urban exploring last week and found it incredibly difficult to get into abandoned buildings and once in, it involves a lot of running, away from security guards and dogs. It is however very easy to get onto active construction sites as long as you have a hard hat, don't try take any pictures though or the running starts again. I did a lot of running and got no photographs.

I then went to Highgate Cemetery, which is a few minutes walk away from my place, I went to visit the last resting place of one Douglas Adams but also visited Karl Marx' shrine.
The cemetery itself is serenely peaceful and hauntingly beautiful, well worth a visit




Had a weird few days this week where I over think too much and it was tough to get out of.

My little sister visited me this weekend from her home in Geneva. Was great to see her and we mooched about London most yesterday and today and visited Camden in the pouring rain.

I got some stuff and amongst them was a t-shirt with a near naked tattooed girl on it, I recognized the tattoos but couldn't place the name till I got home.

I got a bunch of other stuff, the Travis Barker shirt is awesome too, the Killer Bunny print and mug are just awesome, I have the Cookie Monster print on a mug at work. Plus, oh a big plus, I spoke to Jeff, the artist, about designing a tattoo, threw out some ideas and he sounded excited about the prospect

So, my lesbian friend asked if she could come to the Defeater gig as I mentioned I had spare tickets

I said yes, she'll enjoy it for sure

Today has been a good day

I have an unhealthy crush, she took this photo


She is also a Lesbian, talk about wanting the unattainable, she is funny and we have loads in common, music, tattoos, movies and art. The other problem is I'm a Head Chef, senior management, she's a waitress in my restaurant.

So just friends then.



Moving on, need to find new digs in a month, need to move closer to work, something cheaper so I can rebuild my shattered finances, probably a house/flat share.





My little sister is coming to visit me this weekend, flying in from her home in Geneva on Friday, I'm taking the weekend off and chilling, going to see if I can get some new Ink while I'm at it, been way too long, maybe something to celebrate my soon to be two year anniversary of following the Straight Edge ethos.

And I have tickets to see these guys at the Camden Underworld on Friday, July 6th, two spare if anyone is interested.

I feel like such a spectator, watching the world pass me by, watching other peoples lives, like I'm not even part of the same universe. I have these moments from time to time, where no matter how good things are going, I always seem to see the darkest side and I just feel powerless, hopeless with no escape, no promise of something better.

Sure they pass and I try to maintain a positive mental attitude in everything I do, try to treat every person the way I expect to be treated, be respectful, honest and hard working, hoping one day it all pays off



I have four tickets to see these guys in July, to celebrate 2 years of being clean, me, my best friend and two spare, small problem is I don't know anyone in London who likes them or even some of the same kind of music I do.

Feeling better, brain has stopped trying to emergency exit from my nose. It amazes me the amount of snot the body can produce. Being able to breath through my nose again is simply fantastic.

Have had two days off, in a row and I'm feeling recharged and ready for work tomorrow.
