I bought three books at Barnes & Noble today. I bought a chair yesterday. The chair is a lounge chair type, that I will take out on my deck in the sunshine with a book. The sun is not shining now, but at least I have books.
I had my party on Friday then I went to two parties on Saturday. I went to a Happy Hour last night and I will probably go to a Happy Hour tomorrow. I'm not sure what Friday will bring me, but I know there's a party Saturday where I will most likely swim naked in Ali's pool. I missed out last time. I hope there is Naked Time this week.
Next week I leave for Folk Fest. I will be blissing for 5 days. I've got excitement in me. It's bubbling under my skin and in the pit of my stomach. Plans are spinning in my head.

Last night's party was quite a success. I had a great time, and lots of very cool people came. Representing the SG world were aragorn97, DominaNefret, fauxjocie, halfjack, theb0y, and TheLastBoss. This was the first time I ever met halfjack and wow, what a cool guy. Actually, the lovely DominaNefret brought two friends but I can't recall the other's name. I love meeting new people who are worth meeting. Also, it was good seeing TheLastBoss because I haven't seen him since the Zombie Pub Crawl.
Maybe I'll post some pictures once I load them up into the computer.

Vicki just called me and said Falcon Ridge changed her life. I've heard that one before! She and Steve bought their Philly Folk Fest tickets as soon as they got home.

I'm bored.
Nobody comments much any more. It's funny, if you look at the comment counts before the Change, they're in the teens for each entry. Then there's a sharp drop off, and a small recovery but nothing like it used to be.
The staff has done a great job fixing bugs and bringing back good old features, but I think it's not enough.
Maybe it's because it's summertime and people are online less? I know I am.
I'm bored.

It turns out this guy that I vented to on Wednesday just before my little breakdown... well he has me beat hands down. The party last night ended with the girl trying to throw herself into traffic or something after they argued... she was very drunk. And all the friends have taken sides. I've fallen on his side... I think we have a few things in common. Plus I kinda like the guy. Shhh.
I'm so glad I'm not the suicidal type.
This was a pretty awesome weekend, btw. Friday was Evan's party at a bar downtown, and I got rather drunk because people kept buying me beers. I'm so weak! But I did resist Tony's pleas for me to go home with him. I wanted to, of course... but I knew better.
That means I kissed 3 guys in 3 days, but took it no further with any of them. I think that's healthy, comparatively. Don't you?

nothing too horrible, just rather embarrassing.
you know what sounds like a copout but is actually a real reason for insanity in this case? the monthly curse. i'm not kidding, this is getting to be a pattern. i'm going to pay attention better and remember to avoid social situations the first day of my period from now on. you should have seen me... i was sobbing like a kid earlier.
at least i can track the source of my insanity and perhaps cope with it better.
