Queue random blog post.
Well after 9 months of business I've decided to sell my shop. Mixed feelings about all of this, I really enjoyed running things at first but then... customers happen. Well not just that, the constant stress about money and business stuff in general didn't help either.
So I'm scrambling around trying to line up a buyer while keeping things afloat v.v lots of fun.
Apart from business stuff, I've begun drinking again which certainly helps with stress if not the budget
How awesome is this season of anime?
Attack on Titan, Crime Edge, Susei no Gargantina, Valrave the Liberator.... just so much good stuff to watch :3

Well I suppose I better write something, its only been... forever.
Business is up and running, trying to stay afloat which is proving more difficult than expected... but I'm getting there.
Turns out that when you open a shop, 90% of the time is spent cleaning up after customers or dealing with thier drama haha although some are better than others.
I recruited a pet gimp that I pay in store credit to do all the cleaning and serving customers when I'm busy, hopefully if current plans work out I'll be able to start paying him money.
Apart from that... I kind of don't have a life at the moment >_> Although its more than I used to had, at least I'm not sitting at my PC all day and I get to meet new people.
Ofcourse none of this is cleaning my office, which I'm totally NOT procrastinating about.
This weekend I'm hopefully going to Adelaide to play cards in the Pro Tour Qualifiers for MTG, if I win (cus that could totally happen) I get to fly over to America to play! So I've been trying to get things sorted this week so I can make it up and even have a chance.
Ohwell thats it for today, maybe I'll do this more often >_> maybe.

Finally down to my very last assignment, which just leaves my business plan to be completed.
This would be more joyous an occasion (and they'd probably be done by now) if I could concentrate for more than 5 minutes at a time. Ohwell, all things in thier time.
Its all very exciting, finally being able to realise my dream, humble as it is.
Apart from that things are quiet, the normal fun of balancing bills and things you need (like new boots v.v I swear I might as well be walking barefoot) and things you want (BOOKS! ALL OF THE BOOKS!)
Just finished The First Law trilogy, so very good. Nice to read a book where everyone is fucked up, even the gandalf-type wizard.
Looking forward to being able to drive again, my new baby has been sitting up on blocks as the finishing touches are put on it to get it on the road and I can't wait to take it on a road trip!

Well as the Starks are so fond of saying, Winter is Coming. In my case "Winter" is finally here, in that non-commital way that seems to define all weather here. I suppose you could put it down to living in a desert, but still I wish the weather would choose which mode it was in and stay that way. Going out in the morning to a nice 30C day and then as soon as the sun goes down you're freezing your toes off.
Still, its these times you crack out your winter gear, extra blankets and hot water bottles predominantly.
This has led me to the point I originally was going to make:
Hot Water Bottles are impossible to get right!
It seems like you need some kind of mystic water magic to get the right amount at the right temperature to keep you bed nice and warm. You're not supposed to put boiling water in there which leaves you the option of either waiting until its cooled a bit... or mixing it with room temp water. Neither method I've managed to quite get right.
I just wish you could microwave the bloody things!
I do live such a hard life >_>

Well this is my first attempt at a blog in many a long year, but hey better now than never.
I suppose I better start with a bit about myself.
I live in Mildura, its a large country town in Australia. Not alot happens here, but after one aborted atempt at Uni in the city, I guess its home for the forseeable future, especially now I'm opening a hobby shop in 2 months time.
The shop is pretty much the turning point for my life at the moment, focusing me and giving my life an aim for a change. Its going to be nice being able to spend each day doing something that I love, supporting the hobbies that always kept me from going nuts.
I suppose now is a good time to mention I ramble alot ^_^
At the moment I'm nerding it up with Mass Effect 3 as I'm sure 90% of the breathing, gaming, population are.
Although this second I'm taking a break to finish watching The Perfect Host (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1334553/), a movie I cannot reccomend strongly enough. David Hyde Pierce does a fantastic job of being bat shit crazy xD
So yeah I guess thats all for today, and no I don't expect people to read this, I think its just cathartic to record things somewhere.
