Hey there SG!
Sorry I went MIA for a minute! I've been dealing with a lot of school stuff in preparation for Spring Break.
So here's a quick update on my life... <3
Did extra great on a Sociology project for my upper level course, super stoked to get an awesome grade in a 300 lvl.. woot! Also ran into my Latin professor from last semester and she was super cool. She wrote me a letter of recommendation for scholarships for next semester and offered to set up an independent study for me next semester as an upper level credit..!! WOOO! I'm thinking Ovid... I really enjoy Ovid.
I've been dreading and dreading and dreading... I even recruited a friend to come over and help me muss up some hair! I have yet to seal the bajillions of dreads just waiting to jump onto my head sometime soon.
I've been doing super cute things to my nails, too.. check out these toes!!
I also got my back piece finished after 5 years of working on it!! Woot! I fixed up a crappy tat on my foot on the same day, and I was able to get a good pic of that.. I <3 my artist, Brent Franzen...
I bought a unique work of art from a friend who does wearable Fetus art. Check out my chameleon fetus!
Okay... sooooo I gotta go eat some food and stuffz, but I'm back!!

I am really getting tired of the repetitive 'get a new photographer and try again, your sets suck'... as though I hadn't found new photographers and shot 6 new sets just this past weekend.
I also love it when people tell me to get in the photoghopefuls group and post.. which I have.. and go through the 54 pages or whatever of photog introductions on there to find someone close to me (which I spent 4 hours doing, just today before all these comments..)
How about someone give me some real suggestions, not the same ones over and over that I've already tried?
I feel like I'm in a wasteland, SG-wise. The summer of 2014 cannot come soon enough.. At least then I'll have the option to move...
on another note.. a discussion began elsewhere with someone, and I don't agree and I won't name names but...
Do you guys feel like SG is all about competition? Like, you have to be better than everyone else, and stuff? At least as models.. I always thought this site was about free expression and being YOURSELF even if some others might not see 'yourself' as 'better' than someone else...? At what point did all of this become a competition where you have to win or beat someone or everyone else? Isn't being yourself enough? :/ If it's all about being better than others.. how do you know if you are better as you? Wouldn't you need to fake it at some point to try and get a leg up? I don't even know.. I think of showing 'love' on other girls sets as Karma.. if I like this set, now... then she will 'love' maybe not my current sets, but those in the future, either on purpose or by accident.. Karma, ya know?

Augh! So frustrated... Apparently following member advice isn't always a good idea.
I hate feeling stressed out.. I want to do well, the best I can... but I'm really having a lot of trouble getting both locations and photographers that can produce what I need. There is nothing worse than knowing what is possible, but being unable to attain it because you have to rely on someone else.. that is apparently making you look bad. I feel bad, because the photographer I worked with on my first two sets is super nice, and can produce some cool stuff... but he is just winging it as far as SG-- totally not something he ever looked into before. I'm hoping Rick's and Javie's pictures come out super excellent.
I don't have as much time to devote to SG as I would like... I have full time school, and because of my spine injury a lot of doc visits and therapy etc.. If I'm not doing something right and you KNOW this, not just think it, please tell me. If you can think of ways for me to improve my blog, videos, pics, whatever... please tell me!
Shoot, I didn't even know how to set up my feed or where that was until just this afternoon. I need to learn the tricks to the site to make my experience and all my friends' even better..
:/ There's nothing worse than putting yourself out there and feeling attacked. Sad panda tonight..
