Well hello my lovelies,

First and foremost, I HAVE MISSED YOU.

I can't believe it has almost been a year since I was last on here. I don't know where the months have gone. I have been buried in sorting out my father's estate; a long, arduous, and utterly miserable task I am pleased to announce has finally been completed.

I am back in Oregon now, and have even bought my own house here. My very first house smile I, being the impractical girl I am, purchased a somewhat terrifyingly dilapidated 1928 schoolhouse, with an acre and a half of land, and even it's very own abandoned cafe. It seemed like a fantastic idea, but in reality, I'm scared shitless every night here alone, and as it turns out, I'm not very handy. All attempts at home improvement have ended in home destruction. Still, it is heart wrenchingly beautiful here, I wouldn't trade my little patch of Oregon for anything. I am home, and I couldn't be more grateful to be right where I belong.

How are you all? I would love to have updates from so many of you. Please, let me know where you are and how you're doing. I have missed you.

I promise not to go AWOL again. Really, I do.

Forgive me?

With love,

MadameX

Ps. Pictures of my adventures soon.

Welcome back to Oregon. Good to see an update. I'm not much of a do-it-myselfer, either. I prefer building things for my cats. miao!!

God, your new place sounds like a blast to work on and be handy with.
I have no idea if that's worded properly but I guess what I'm saying is I'd love repairing and fixing something like that up! I AM a do-it-myselfer and I'd love it.

Your house sounds amazing, congrats.
Dilapidated simply means that you need to purchase more coffee/cocktails to help you along the way; "motivational imbibements" if you will.

No more AWOL, miss.

Awesome! You should open the cafe for your neck of the woods. Sounds like a fun venture.

Wow that sounds fun! Well, I would leave the home improvement to people who specialize in such things but spend my time enjoying the yard. And a library, I know you have to have a good library there.
