Dreams are a funny thing. Your mind can make things up that can be interesting, or can scare the living crap out of you...Mine last night was disturbing. I cant remember the whole dream, but the part I can just scared me.
It was:
I was on a sinking ship and while people tried to escape, the crew pushed and locked them into a cage and then pushed them into the water. I remember sinking into the water in my cage and managed somehow to get out....but what disturbed me was as I tried to swim to the surface, I watched the others sink further and further and watched them die.
Why is it I survived but everyone else died. I can remember feeling like I was drowning.
Any clues on the meaning of this?

You know, most people think that when the going gets rough, at least you have your family...after yesterday, I dont believe this. After a nasty email, I think my family thoroughly has no faith in me. So to make a long story short, I have two weeks to find 5grand to go to school. If I dont, Im kicked off the car insurance and my health insurance. Oh and my off the phone plan......how do they go from being proud of me for getting my own place and working to being a disappointment, because my loan got cancelled with no time to get a new one before money for school is due....i dont know. But im really down right now.
But here is my weekly recipe (made this for dinner tonight) its thanksgiving in a ravioli
Ingredients
Ravioli:
1/4 pound ground turkey, preferably dark meat
2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
2 tablespoons grated Romano
1 tablespoon bread crumbs
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
20 store-bought wonton wrappers
Gravy:
3 tablespoons butter
1 shallot, chopped
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 tablespoon chopped parsley leaves
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
To make the ravioli: in a medium bowl, stir together the turkey, cranberry sauce, cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Place 10 wonton wrappers on a work surface. Brush lightly with water using a pastry brush. Place 1 tablespoon of the turkey mixture on each of the wonton wrappers. Top with another wonton wrapper. Push out any air bubbles and press the edges tightly to seal.
To make the gravy: in a medium, heavy skillet, heat the butter over medium heat. Add the shallots and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Add the flour and stir until cooked, about 1 minute. Slowly add the chicken broth, stirring quickly to avoid lumps. Add the cream, parley, salt, and pepper and cook, without boiling, for 2 minutes, stirring often.
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the ravioli and cook until tender but still firm to the bite and the turkey is cooked, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Drain the ravioli into the gravy and stir to coat. Serve immediately in individual dishes, drizzled with the remaining gravy.

So, I have two different colored eyes.

And it is incredible how many stupid questions I get about them, so Id figure Id give some answers to these apparent perplexing questions:
1. Did you lose a contact?
-No. I wear clear ones because I am blind as a bat.
2. Do you know your eyes are two different colors?
-Really? Do you think I have never noticed before?
3.Are those real?
-Yes.
4. What color are your parents eyes?
-Blue, both of them.
5.Did you dye your eyes?
-Um no.....
6. Are you a witch?
-Sorta
7. Do you have a disease?
-Nope
8. How do you get them?
-Either genetics, injury (like david bowie), or disease....mine are a genetic trait
I get asked alot of questions, sometimes I wish I would have a FAQ page to give out.......but if you have one
