Hope you all had a Happy Boxing Day! The past two days have actually fucking rocked. I've gotten everything I wanted +10, seriously. I am one awesomely spoiled girl with really good friends.
I MOTHERFUCKING GOT A WAIST TRAINING CORSET. My ribs will be beautifully bent into a lovely hourglass shape. <3 I got also got some comics, goth books, jewellery, a new winter coat, etc.
Next up is New Year's. I have goals for 2010. Oh yes.

Last night I worked on a painting and went to bed at a responsible 11pm. Today I got up at 7am, took a shower, and made myself breakfast. Who the fuck is this because it sure as hell isn't me! It feels nice though, y'know, to be awake at work.
I miss Strangles. I have to sleep beside his empty cage every night and it's very depressing. I might get a new snake someday, but it just feels a little too soon right now.

I used to be a omg-super-kawaii-stupid-wapanese-anime-fan, but that just got embarrassing when I realized that it was really..
a) demeaning to women (why do they all moan in vowels to vocalize fear/delight/anything?)
b) often insulting to my intelligence (not all titles, just a lot of them)
c) sad when I noticed that everyone in the fandom is or acts like they are five years old.
I still think they art style is very pretty but I just can't read or watch the stuff anymore. I've sort of missed being nerdy though. After a recent trip through the comic book store though, I've stumbled on to some decent American comics. They make me a happy girl.
Fables, Escape from Wonderland, and the Death comics... they all have wonderful characters and pretty art AND don't make me feel like an idiot. What a wonderful world.

So Rivet and I managed to get a tree yesterday. We obtained said tree in a totally legal and ethical fashion, I assure you. 
We did not go out and chop it down at midnight. Nope. Not in some dark area on the outskirts of town. No! Not us. 
It smells of oranges, it's so delicious! I can't wait to make it nice and tacky with decorations.
Speaking about festivities, since I'm not really into the shopping thing this year Ebay has been my savior. Anyone want a tacky holiday card? Send me your address, I feel like writing to people.
