I want a snake

Personally, I've always thought Basil was a good name for a snake. But Ike sounds good, too.

That's a very pretty snake. I'm rightfully wary around snakes, they always seem to know something I don't.

Awww, I used to have a ball python they're swell.

Basil was the snake's name in A Clockwork Orange, but I do like people names for pets. My dog's name is Sadie, for instance.

One of my all time favorite movies. I read the book, too, though I liked the movie better. However, after reading the book, I was able to speak the slang. Not so much now, unfortunately.
