From afar, miles in the distance I worship the beauty I cannot touch.
Beauty that gives me life and hope for the future.
Even if I have no beauty to share or future to hope for.

Happy New Year to all. Made it back to Iraq just fine. I had a cool time in the Amman Airport talking to Muslims coming back to the USA from Hadj to Mecca. I spoke to two Insian girls and their brother who lived in Texas who so wanted to get back to the USA. Guess we are not the Great Satan to all Musilims after all.

Well I made it home for Christmas. I got stuck in Chicago for a night but no big deal. We had to abort our landing in Aman due to fog and go to another airport. We have had a blast staying up late and watching movies and stuff.

Where is my Suicide Girl for XMAS? love

Well I am preparing to depart for Erbil and our Villa in Ainkawa. I will spend 11 days meeting with the current and new Minister of Interior and hopefully solidify our presence here for another 3 - 5 years. I then go home to spend Christmas with my son, daughter, family and Siberian husky. Hopefully the road trip through Baghdad will be uneventful.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight.

Well the past few weeks have been crazy here in the Land Between Two Rivers. Many curfews and lots of violence in Baghdad. Religion taken to extremes is bad not matter what it promotes. I will be going home fro Christmas in 21 days. Anyone want to spend Christmas and New Years with me and my family? love

Crazy times here, two big mortars came in last night and we had two firefights outside the gates at the Ministry of Interior. I still think we are doing the right thing to protect the USA. We cannot be weak and let these religious fascists rise to power. I have no issues with any religion. Nevertheless, we all need to be able to do as we wish. As bad as the USA is we do not kill women because the want to have sex nor do we kill men who are gay. In addition, in the Middle East sex with men is ok as long as you do not fall in love with the man. eeek

Been since October since my last post. I was at the Saddam trail for the death sentence verdict. What a stunned look he had on his face. Things are crazy here and in the states I see. DEMS have the Congress who knows what will happen. skull

Wow,

Been in Erbil for several days now. We have rented a Villa in Ain Kawa that is the Christian District of Erbil. What a great city. If you think the USA News media, other than FOX is reporting the truth lay off the drugs. Kurds are awesome, no matter if they are Muslims or Christians. To be in a place where you are loved because you are an American is a great feeling. We cannot even have that feeling in our own country. Freedom has a price. If you have to ask how much you cannot afford it.
miao!!

Well I have confirmation for our Jack the Ripper Tour on New Years Eve in London. My daughter, son and I will have a blast.

Sometimes I wonder if I will be alone forever. Is there a girl for me or did I miss my chance when what I thought was my true love left me for a girl?
