hard for me to imagine not getting to see the ocean until i was your age, having lived relatively nearby the coast [around an hour and a half, maybe 2 hour drive to a good beach] my entire life. the beaches ive been to in california have all been really nice, and it's really a bonus that it was a really nice day when you visited.

I think SF is one of the greatest cities ever. i've visited that city more than any other.

Did you get to swim in the ocean? That's my favorite part (or throwing crabs at people), they're both pretty good.

sometimes the university departments just get so crazed up in the fining to raise money that they go overboard. the parking people at rutgers sometimes ticket people for parking where they're supposed to, something that can be appealed with a phone call but still a hassle to have to go through...

That's totally awesomesauce. I've seen some things inland that made my jaw drop.

Next time you go to SF, you should, like, go at the same time as me and stuff. I was sad that I missed you by a week.
