Yeah, I guess it helps to have connections. Still, I'm sure there are other ways to break in. I'm thinking about getting in to acting, and that will more than likely require me to move down closer to LA next year, and take some classes down there.
AMC fell off the wagon a long time ago. They switched the name from American Movie Classics to American Movie Channel. Not that I'm necessarily complaining. They do show those hilarious Death Wish movies from time to time.
Well, you thought wrong, pal!! Actually I supposed Time Cop is a classic in it's own special way. Maybe we can think of new word to describe movies like that... how about "classick"? "That movie's hella classick, brah!" I'm sure if we tried hard enough we get that incorporated into the hipster/stoner vocabulary. That part where he does the splits on the kitchen counter in pretty classick.
Yep, that's pretty much the most iconic moment in that film. What's the name of the newer Van Damme film you saw in the video store? I watched one on Spike TV a little while back that looked like it was made in the past 5 years or so. It wasn't really your typical Van Damme movie, though. I think he was trying to actually act for a change. It didn't work out so well.
I think Seagal's last classick was Exit Wounds. That one was pretty good.
Another classick one is The Quest. It's pretty much a ripoff of Bloodsport in a lot of ways... but who's going to complain? As long as Van Damme is kicking ugly dudes in the face, all is well.
