Nice preview. The overall effect is very "sexy nerd". Certainly one of my favorites.

The LACMA was great -- all two hours that I left myself able to see of it, albeit, including dinner and the necessary encounter with the simply surreal staff of that little "cafe" they have there. "Wondrous" place -- the people are more amazing than the art, truly.

What I could sample of the actual art of the place, in that brief time, it was most interesting though. There was this VW bug all made up in vinyl, and looking all beat-up broke-down, for real, a part of the Chicano arts exhibit -- it was awesome -- and this work that was like an impressionistic loom, stringing out from a multi-colored sarape fabric.

Then, the painted cadillac out in front of the place -- "My Family Car", it was titled -- classic art, another work in the Chicano arts exhibit.

It was some awesome stuff, even in that brief survey.


Heck, even the elevator to the parking garage was cool.
