Back from my vacation...and back to work. The Caribbean was AMAZING! The cruise was great, lots of good food and relaxation. Exactly what I needed! I took tons of pictures that I still need to sort out, so look for those soon!
When I got back to work, the district manager called and said he wanted to talk to me, so he came by the next day and took me aside. He asked how I felt about being a pharmacy manager, then went on to say that my manager is going to be going to other Napa CVS and he was hoping I would take over my store. So, I accepted and am now the pharmacy manager at my store. Yay! That comes with a raise, a bigger annual bonus, and a lot more responsibility, but more freedom at the same time. It is my pharmacy, now, so I call the shots. I am excited, but a little scared...
It is exciting times!

Happy 11-11-11. It is my Grandmother's birthday today, so we are going to Cache Creek to win big!
Off to Disneyland! I am going with a coworker and her boyfriend, in honor of both her and my birthdays. I need a little vacat, cause work has been crazy lately... I'll be back Monday!
Got a new tattoo the other day at Hot Ink in Vallejo. The awesome artist there, Greg, did an amazing job. It is the white tree of Gondor from The Lord of the Rings:

Just got back from a week and a half vacation. Sucks having to go back to work...
Went camping for 2 nights at Manresa SB near Santa Cruz. Got a little sun burned and almost got washed away out to sea. It was fun, though! The water was cold, but not so cold that we couldn't go in. Racoons tried to attack our campsite one night but only got away with the food we donated to a nearby gopher. Other than racoons, the only other creatures we ran into were birds:
It was foggy in the morning, but the sun came out a little later:
And at night we had fun with glow sticks:
After camping, my roommate and I went to Sacramento to see The Airborne Toxic Event. My roommate won tickets from a radio station to listen to an acoustic performance and have a meet & greet with the band before the concert. Of course, we couldn't take pictures...but they put one on their Facebook:
The concert was pretty awesome and they let us take pictures and videos. Here is one I recorded:

After the concert, the roommate and I went to So Cal to go to Magic Mountain and Disneyland. Everything was sooo crowded, but we got to ride pretty much everything that we wanted to. The new StarTours was pretty awesome. The FastPasses sold out around noon for it, though...it was ridiculous! The Matterhorn was closed on the 2nd day we were there and of course we didn't ride it the 1st day. And the Indiana Jones ride broke right when we were about to get off of it. There was one car in front of us to unload and it broke... So, we got to see it with the lights on and they had to get a step ladder for us to get off the car. Suck for all the people in the middle of the ride since it just stopped out of nowhere and they were probably all in the dark for a minute. And we found a bunch of hidden Mickeys. I ended up getting the book that has the clues to finding them on our last day. So, now we will be ready the next time we go!

So, I got my H&K USP 9mm last week. Went shooting on Saturday with a friend from work. I am loving this gun! So much better than the revolver I shot years ago with some friends. My other coworker picked her gun up Sunday (a handgun for Easter!) and we are gonna go shooting tomorrow.

Been playing a lot of Portal 2, even beat it the other day. Now I am working thru the co-op missions. It is a great game and the puzzles are pretty tough. Some of them took a lot of brain power to figure out! Now I am just waiting for Diablo 3, but since it is Blizzard, I know I am gonna have to wait FOREVER!
Well, back to cleaning. The roommate is gonna be back in a while and we are gonna go do some wine tasting. I have such a tough life...

Work has been crazy. We are getting busier and busier with no extra technician hours. I did my immunization training last month, so once I get my CPR card, I will be a CVS immunizer, which I am not too excited about. It will be good for the store, though, cause I was always turning people away who wanted a flu shot during the flu shot season. And, with the new law regarding the pertussis vaccine (all kids going to highschool have to be up to date with their Tdap), we will be doing those pretty soon. But, it takes time away from filling prescriptions, which we have a hard enough time keeping up with as it is.
I dunno, I can't wait to get out of CVS and possibly open my own pharmacy with my own rules. It will probably be years away in the future, though...if the world doesn't end first.
Speaking of the world ending and the zombie apocalypse that will surely follow, I bought a handgun this weekend, I'm a lot more excited about this than I thought I would be. I pick it up next Wednesday and I can hardly wait! I'm gonna be ready for those damn zombies!
In other news, I have been playing a lot of the Nintendo 3DS. This is the future of gaming! 3D with no glasses! AMAZING! Just need better games! The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time comes out in June, I am definitely gonna pick that up, even though it is just a remake...but it is Zelda! I cannot miss that!
Well, I have to go to the grocery store and finish up my laundry, but I will continue this later.
