Going to the High desert on Sat. for a photo shoot. Kind of a bad time for it, being summer, but I will get to see some California back country. I don't believe there is any left but I am assured there is. Might even camp out.
The photos are going to be a new animation fodder for the demo reel, set extensions.
I tunes store is going to ruin me. Its just too easy.

Lloyd Cole was great. McCabes is such a small intimate venue that any show would be great to see there. No alcohol so no one is acting like retards. Mostly musicians and music industry people. I have been wanting to see him for 23 years. I wasn't disappointed.

I saw Peter Case Last night at McCabes Guitar center. It was awesome! An acoustic show with about 60 people. It was like being in someones living room.
Tonight Lloyd Cole at McCabes again! He has been one of my favorites since "Rattlesnakes" in '83. Oh god, I am so old. Lets just say I was really young then. It sounds better.

Just found out Lloyd Cole will be playing here this month. I have allways wanted to see him. Peter case plays the night before. Woot!

Back from Hank the 3rd. He rocked! Except for the death metal opening act and Hank ended the show with Death metal. I just don't dig it. My favorite lyric of the opening act was "CUNT SUCK IT!" over and over. Yep make momma proud. Hank and his band was really good. The base player(stand up) had this whole Golem precious thing going on with his base. The resemblence was uncanny.
These things become sociological observations for me, If you cant fit in might as well watch.

Had a good time last night. Went to see Elefant at the Wiltern. Had some fun liked the show. The sound system was kind of blurry and muddled. I do feel somewhat out of place since I am two decades older than a sizable portion of the crowd. 
I have been searched at shows before but not for chewing gum.
I found that somewhat odd.
The guy kind of pats me down and points to my crotch, "Whats that?"
"Those are my testicles, would you like to see?" Wile I am undoing my belt.
"NO!! Go on in."
In reality it was a pack of gum nestled between the twins. No ones going to keep me from wintry fresh spearmint breath!

Ive been looking for a new cell phone I don't have one. My old boss had an extra so I used it since I arrived in LA and I gave it back when I quit.
I stopped in this Nokia place yesterday just to see what they had. Spotted this stainless steel phone. Looks nice and I have had Nokia phones in the past so I was curious of the price.
I asked how much. The reply was $800.
