I just found out I have a warrant... just traffic, but the original charge was doing 80 in a 45 mph zone and failing to yeild to a police car . Before it went to warrant the fine was like $800... so now its probably up to like at least $2500.. probably more. no way in hell I can pay that, so I figure I gotta turn myself in and just do the time... which shouldn't be much.. especially cuz here in LA you do like less than 1/4 of your sentence.. so Im figuring on a week tops.. but herein lies the tricky part. I want to go the knitting factory on the 17th of nov. to see my friends band. and I dont to be locked up for thanksgiving or x-mas... so I figure I should turn myself in (before I get picked up) sometime right after thanksgiving. hopefully they wont give me more than about 60 days, but Im thinking more like 30 days, if that. I did 30 months straight in calif state prison a few years back, so a few days is no biggie, but still.. turning yourself in is fucking HARD
