So, I enjoy riding my bike, sure I'm living in a fairly major city right now, but I don't drive, I only use public transportation if I absolutely have to (busy busses or subways are the health equivilent of going into a hospital for me... I just fucking know I'm gonna somehow get super sick from all the people that opt not to cover their mouths when they couch and sneeze!). So I usually walk or ride my bike, I prefer riding my bike.

So last night I am out riding my bike, mind you I have had a little to drink at this point, but by no means was I drunk. So I'm riding when the car beside me doesn't see me, and decides to pull over, into the bike lane. Half annoyed half panic I kick at his car to let him know I'm there, this however fucks up my balance and I almost bail hard, I regain my balance just as he slows down to see what the thump was (HA! IT WAS MY FOOT, ASSHOLE!) . I am still moving though so my left hand collides with his side mirror, and it comes clean off his car (oops) but my hand is equally fucked up. He gets out having no idea what really happened. He was going on about not knowing I was there and not seeing me and being so sorry.

I thought all this was pretty funny, since me taking his mirror off was mostly my own damn fault. He felt bad and said I didn't have to pay for the mirror (isn't that nice of him) and he actually gave me twenty bucks feeling bad about my hand being all cut up.

I really kind of felt bad for taking his money and shit, but at the same time he started it, if his car hadn't threatened me I wouldn't of had to fight back.

Today I bought a felafel sandwich with the twenty dollars... I guess the moral of the story is .....

...take the bus? I dunno.
