This week i had the pleasure of meeting and shooting Desdemonia. She's a really great girl and very easy to work with. We shot these first ones in the valley at an old motel. It took me three days to find the perfect neon motel sign. Fortunately the night before the shoot I found one. I loved the way the neon was only half working, flickering here and there, glowing orange and red. Perfect. I told Des to meet me there the next day. The next day we meet and have about an hour to kill before the light is right, so I set up my lights and wait for the motel sign to come on. Waiting. No lights. The light is perfect now, still no lights, so we go inside the motel to ask the manager if he'll turn them on. He tells us the sign doesn't work and asked if we're the repairmen. Umm... no! 
Anyway we still managed to get some good shots.
Then we went a bit further down the street to a liquor store to knock out a few more shots. Des whipped out the gold bikini top and as soon as I turned my lights on trucks were honking, people were screaming, I could swear she almost caused a few wrecks while posted up on that corner. One kind gentleman even came by to thank us for coming to the ghetto to shoot. Huh?

I just received some bad news... the video Sash and I made didn't win.
Apparently it wasn't the sexiest or the most creative... I know, wtf?! I guess i had assumed we would win because we ended up getting the most comments of all time, even though we entered the game late, and because soooooo many people left comments saying it was the best video of on SG to date. If it was up to the SG members I'm confidant we would of won, I guess corporate SG has different criteria.
Anyhoo, the winners are Flux and Pistolita, they both made very nice videos so go show them some love.

Thanks so much to everyone who has commented on Sash's video, and if you haven't seen it go check it out. We busted our asses to make the most ass kicking video we could. Sash froze her ass off for like 4 hours during the parts were she's on the blue couch until we got the shots we needed. We had a truck running with heat on the whole time so she could hop in there between takes. We'd discuss what to do next and then we'd jump out and shoot it.
Then when we shot the gritty urban stuff, the idea was to have her smashing stuff like the roses, tv, a wine glass and a wine bottle all angry and shit. So, before she smashed the wine bottle i said, "hey it might look really cool if you take a swig of that red wine and spit it out at me, as if to say FUCK YOU ASSHOLE." Well, let me just say don't ever ask Sash to spit. She must of never learned how, so instead of it spitting out at me it comes drooling out of her mouth down her chin. She starts cracking up and I'm like "what was that?!" lol "lets try that again." Three takes later, same thing. Needless to say that didn't make the cut. But maybe I'll post some outtakes when i get a chance.

Sash and I are working on a kick ass sexy as hell video. I'm almost done editing but I need a few more pick up shots. I think we'll do that today so I can, hopefully, have it finished and posted by Monday. In the meanwhile here are some photos from our vacation to northern woods of Wisconsin.
Well, Sash and I are back from our many adventures. First we went to Las Vegas to celebrate GoGo and RyanDownie's wedding, which was a fucking blast. We laughed, we cried, we got shit faced and blacked out.
Elvis attended the festivities. In fact he gave GoGo away and sang for us all too. It was probably the most incredibly hilarious wedding I've ever, ever been to. Unfortunately photography was banned so I have no photos to prove he's still alive. However I did, in fact, take photos at the reception.
Right after that we were off to Wisconsin to kick back at the lake house.
Our trip home was a nightmare. NWA canceled our flight and it looked like we were going to be stranded. Fortunately, they were able to oversell the plane and we got on.
we were finally home after 12 hours.

Sash and I leave tomorrow for GoGo's wedding in Vegas, then right after we're heading off to Wisconsin for a relaxing vacation on the lake. There is so much to do before we can leave, though. It's stressing me out. My list is getting longer and longer. I'm a little nervous about leaving Scott home. He's been pooping all over lately, in an act of aggression. I think he needs a girlfriend. If anyone has a girl bunny let me know, he's charming and handsome.
In other news, Sash did a shoot with Ward (the hitter) last week. It was a lot different then her other stuff, and I got to make an appearance My roll was "ominous man in corner. " The funny thing is, I had shorts on that day so when I put on the jacket it looked like I was creepy-flasher-guy. So Ward in all his genius suggested I stand behind the bed rather then in front of it. poof! problem solved. Genius, Genius!
Sash and I also did a quick, stealth-like shoot last week. I used the pics to make her a new teaser and to customize her Virb profile. For those that don't know Virb is like Myspace crossed with Flickr, crossed with Pure Volume. It's customization options are awesome, especially if you know css and xhtml. It's pretty fucking cool.
