Welll....last night was....hmmmm.....interesting.....
We decided to do something different on New years eve...we went to a comedy club! Jongleurs in southampton.
Said centre of my current woes finally admitted she'd got a new boyfriend. kick in the ribs but i knew it was coming. Anyway she was paraletic by 10pm, and after going AWOL, and being found by a policewoman trying to get a taxi back to our hometown was put to bed by 10:30ish.
The rest of the evening was ace. great comedians (and comedianesses?!??!) and lots of dancing and drunkeness and too much sambuca
Well we rolled home at 3am to find drunken girl wide awake and fairly sober. Queue much merriment and a chat fest till 7am. And a snog. Now even more confused as she's run right back to new boyfriend today.
Gah!
Oh well, stiff upper lip'n'all!

Lets hope 2007 isnt too shabby!

Well I found out last night that a girl I was seeing has decided to see someone else instead.
Had been wondering why she'd been avoiding me and guess i now know...wouldve been nice for her to actually tell me face to face as opposed to me finding out through her best friend...life sucks sometimes...currently got a lot of what ifs, buts and maybes running trhrough my head....worse thing is we're spending new years together...suppose it gies her a chance to come clean!
Lets hope that 2007 Brings a little smidgoen of happiness

Mines was pretty standard really....all the usual trimmings topped off by much alcohol and an increasing flock of neices and nephews really enjoying the fact Santa had visited and deposited several sleigh loads of parcels for each of them!
Well after far too much spare time on my hands I've finnally reached meltdown point....so far in the last three days i've watched:

along with numerous reruns of the simpsons and Friends.
I need to get out and about and meet real people!
But first i might just watch Back to the future three and maybe a wee bit of jurassic park 2.....
